هذا الكتيب الصغير يوازي حسب تعبير ف.أ.لينين مجلدات بكاملها.

ففي حين أن مسألة ما اذا كان الشيوعيون سيقضون على العائلة أم على الدين أم على القومية كانت تعتبر في عام 1847 مشكلة بالنسبة لكثير من الناس، فإنه ليستوقفنا بشكل خاص رد انجلس على السؤال العشرين «ما هي نتائج الغاء الملكية الخاصة الغاء نهائياً؟». هنا نتبين أول طرح علمي متكامل لملامح النظام الاجتماعي الاشتراكي تخطيط اقتصادي، تطور صناعي سريع وخال من الأزمات تطبيق العلم في الزراعة، تلاشي التناقضات الطبقية، تكون الانسان الاشتراكي الجديد ذي التطور الشامل والاتصاف العالي التربية البوليتقنية للشبيبة، زوال التناقض بين المدينة والريف. ويتهيأ لنا أن انجلس كتب هذه الجملة يوم أمس: «إن الصناعة التي يخططها المجتمع بأسره ويديرها جماعياً، تشترط وجود أناس ذوي قدرات شاملة التطور، وفي وضع يمكنهم من معاينة مجمل جهاز الانتاج.

Skip the Manifesto and read this if you're genuinely intrigued and would like to learn the goals and principles of Communists. Not only has it aged quite well, it's much more digestible than the Manifesto of the Communist Party.

Such an amazing read! Short, concise, easy to read, and extremely important. In my opinion this is the best book that someone who wishes to understand communism as a system of thought should read first, not the manifesto.
It's a work that also explains many different misintepretations of Marxism both by its opponents and by "Marxists" themselves.
Reactionaries would claim that under communism, women are "collectively owned" and Engels in a really nice way shows how this imprisonment of women under the rule of men actually becomes reality under capitalism, mainly with prostitution.
"Marxists" would claim how USSR or modern China "are not socialist" because they have private property and capitalists while Engels very clearly explains that

"So long as it is not possible to produce so much that there is enough for all, with more left over for expanding the social capital and extending the forces of production – so long as this is not possible, there must always be a ruling class directing the use of society’s productive forces, and a poor, oppressed class. How these classes are constituted depends on the stage of development."

and, additionally,

"No, no more than existing forces of production can at one stroke be multiplied to the extent necessary for the creation of a communal society.

"In all probability, the proletarian revolution will transform existing society gradually and will be able to abolish private property only when the means of production are available in sufficient quantity."

Another great point of the book is its own starting point. Engels doesn't start describing communism as a specific system with specific policies (only mentions some vague policies that can be made in some situations). He, instead, points out how "Communism is the doctrine of the conditions of the liberation of the proletariat.". It's not a set in stone system with specific instructions and 'how to' guidance. Each country in each historical epoch have different material conditions of which the people will build socialism in different ways, which will fit their own conditions, in their own independent, creative and consciouss way, as Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il also point out wrt socialist construction.

Overall an amazing, extremely short and very easy to read book, the best of its kind for someone who doesn't really know what communism is about and is interested to learn more about it.

قراءتي لهذا الكتاب من الممكن أنْ أُصنّفَها تحت بند ( المعرفة العامة ) أو ( نفي
الجهل العالمي )، لذلك لا أتوقع من هذه المراجعة أن تكون وافيةً و مُستوفية حقَّ المؤلف عليّ، و الذي يتمثل في أمانة تقييمي و تفصيلي لكافة جوانب النص، فالأمر أشبه بصرخة ذهول عند انتهائي من أول فصل، " إذن، هذه الشيوعية!! ما أغربها! "، بل إنّ الأمر برمته سيتضح أكثر عندما أُبدي إعجابي ببعض المبادئ المذكورة، و هذا شيءٌ عجيب و لا يتناسب مع ميولي الفكرية بشكلٍ عام.



و لا أُخفي قولًا أنّ فضولي تُجاه الشيوعية قد بدأ منذ قراءتي لمذكرات أبي الروحي، المسيري - رحمه الله - إذ صرّح أنه انضم إلى الحزب الشيوعي في فترة شبابه المبكرة، ثم انفصل عنها و بدأ في تقويضها في كتاباته و لم ينِ عن تحليل كل أوجه النقص فيها، و كذلك جلال أمين في مذكراته ( ماذا علمتني الحياة ) و لم أندهش حين عرفت أن نفس الظاهرة تتكرر و في نفس المرحلة العمرية لدى اثنين من أكبر و أهم المُفكريين الرافضين لسياسات التغريب و التبعية الأمريكية بشكل خاص، و لم أنفر من نفسي حين وجدتني في هذا الصيف أميل رويدًا رويدًا للبحث في أصول الشيوعية و الإعجاب أحيانًا بسيرة ماركس، و لكن نظرتي تلك لم تتناقض مع الجانب الديني في شخصيتي، لا أعلم لماذا و لكن فوجئتُ بعقلي يفصل بتلقائية بين قناعاتي الدينية و إعجابي غير المبرر ببعض مبادئ فكر اجتماعي اقتصادي ينفي فكرة الدين من أصلها.



و عندما قرأت هذا الكتاب، فهمت، يبدو أن هناك شوقًا في نفوسنا الشابة الغضة نحو الأحلام الوردية الشمولية التي تحقق السعادة لنا و للجميع، و من الطبيعي أن تنشأ فكرة مثل تلك في مجتمع كان قد لفظ أي ارتباط بالمؤسسات الدينية و أعني الانفصال الأوروبي الشهير عن سلطات الكنيسة، و لا أقصد بذلك أن الدين المسيحي يشتمل على الحلول الاقتصادية و الاجتماعية كافة، و لكن التفكير المادي مهما طال عمره و استمر في التوسُّع سيتخضل بالكثير من خيبات الأمل، و مع الزحف البطيء و المرعب لسلطوية الرأسمالية، ليس من المدهش إذن ميلاد الشيوعية و إيمان هذه الحشود الغفيرة بها في وقت قصير، ثم فجأة نُفاجئ بالثورة البلشفية التي تلد لنا أول نظام شيوعي حكومي، و لن أتحدثَ عمّا حدث بعد ذلك، إذ يكفي لنا أن نتذكر رواية أورويل الغنية عن التعريف لنعرف الوحش الذي تحولت إليه الشيوعية.



قبل شروعي في الكتاب، كنتُ أظنه البيان الشيوعي أو ( المانيفستو ) و لكن بعد قراءتي للمقدمة فهمت أن ثمّة فرقًا بين البيان الشيوعي و مبادئ الشيوعية التي كتبها إنجلس، و هو كتاب كُتِب ببراعة ديماجوجية لافتة للنظر، فقد كنتُ في الكثير من الصفحات أغلق عيني و أحاول أن أتلبّس روح العامل الأوروبي المقهور تحت عجلات الطبقة البرجوازية، و بالفعل انتبابني الغضب و تم شحني بالعواطف المُتوقع منها أن تُفجر انقلابًا عمّاليًّا، لإن الكتاب قد خلا من أي تعقيد اقتصادي أو مصطلحات غامضة قد تعوق عملية التعبئة، فقد جاء في شكل سؤال و جواب و بعض المقالات القصيرة التي ترسم الطريق الوردي أمام كل المُتحمسين للقضاء على الفوارق الطبقية.

نعم، فأنا لا أرى الشيوعية سوى حلمٍ ورديٍّ، حتى و إن كنتُ حاليًّا لا أرى نفسي مؤهلةً بالقدر الكافي لنقد الكثير من النقاط التي استوقفتني، و آمل أن أصبح يومًا ما قادرة على ذلك، و لكنّي الآن سأكتفي بإبداء سروري أنّي كسرت حاجزًا و قرأت هذا الكتاب بلا انحياز مُسبق و أعطيت لنفسي الفرصة لخوض تجربة تعطيني على الأقل القدر الأدنى من الإلمام حين أتحدث عن الشيوعية أو عند قراءة عمل يتحدث عنها، سواء بالإيجاب أم بالسلب، حلم كبير شحن شعوبًا بأكملها و جعلها تؤمن بإمكانية القضاء على سنة الكون و خلق مجتمع طوباوي متكامل لا يشكو فاقة و لا أي خلل... بالله، كيف أُخِذت هذه المبادئ على محمل الجدية؟

فهذا الكتيب أو البيان قد ظهر نتيجة لمناقشة البرنامج الأول للحزب العمالي الثوري على الصعيد العالمي، تلك المناقشة التي دارت على امتداد سنة ١٨٤٧. إن جميع الوثائق المنشورة في هذا الكراس نتجت عن تلك المناقشة. و ( مبادئ الشيوعية ) لإنجلس، الذي يعتبر مرحلة تمهيدية هامة ( للبيان الشيوعي ) يشغل بالضرورة الحيز الأساسي فيه، و هو بالتالي وثيقة بالغة الأهمية للشيوعية العلمية، فقد لاحظت أن الكاتب وضع في المرتبة الأولى مسألة القضاء التدريجي على الملكية الخاصة لوسائل الإنتاج. و بالنسبة له كانت الظروف الواقعية تمثل مؤشرًا و مقياسًا لسلوك الثورة الشيوعية الطريق السلمي أو طريق العنف الراديكالي.

بالطبع لم أقتنع بإجابة الكاتب حين سُأل عن الفرق بين الشيوعية و الاشتراكية، و لم أقتنع بحديثه عن الطبقات البرجوازية الصغيرة، و لا فكرته عن بداية نشأة البروليتاريا، ثم لا أود الخوض في نقطة الدين لإن الفكرة كلها ألجمت لساني، كنت أتفهم مسبقًا موقف الشيوعية من الأديان، و لكن العلّة التي وضحها كانت غريبة، ثم أعود و أقول أنّ هذه المراجعة بأكملها أقرب إلى كونها مجرد إبداء رد فعل أوّلي و شخصي للغاية أكثر من كونها تقييمًا موضوعيًّا، إذ لا أرى نفسي مع هؤلاء الذين يتعصبون ضد أي رأي مخالف لما يظنونه دون أي خلفية ثقافية فعلية لديهم، أعني أن يأتي أحدهم و قد استمع للكثير من المفكرين الإسلاميين أن الشيوعية تفكير سقيم و لا تصلح للواقع و تتعارض مع أصول الدين، فيأتي و يُردد كلامهم بلا أي فردية أو صبغة شخصية منه، و هذه الفردية تأتي من القراءات المتمعنة و البحث الدءوب، و بهذه الطريقة قد كوّنت رأيي من الكيان الصهيوني على سبيل المثال.

أما هذا الكتاب، فقد قرأته فقط لتكوين فكرة عامة عن أهم حركة اقتصادية و اجتماعية في القرن العشرين، و تقييمي لا يأتي من موقفي من المحتوى، بل هو مجرد تقييم للطريقة التي اختارها الكاتب لعرض و توصيل أفكاره.

بمثابة كتيب التعليمات الذي يجيب على أسئلتك بخصوص الشيوعية بكل يسر وسلاسة، أو خلينا نسميه: “ما لا يسع العامل جهله” :).

الثلث الأول من الكتاب جاء على شكل أسئلة وأجوبة، وهو كافي في رأيي للتعرف على الشيوعية -للعوام أمثالي-، وهو كما ذكر عن لينين: "هذا الكتيب الصغير يوازي مجلدات بأكملها"، وبقية الكتاب مراسلات وإعادة تأكيد لكثير من الأفكار، مراسلات على غرار مراسلات كافكا وميلينا، مي وجبران، مع اختلاف الهموم بين البروليتارية والحبايب :)

الإخوة البروليتارية، هذي محصلة تحقيق الشيوعية حسب ظني -وصححوا لي إن أسأت الفهم-:
بينما تساهم الرأسمالية -وبلا شك- في خلق الفوارق بين الطبقات، تساهم الشيوعية في إذابتها.. حتى الآن يبدو نغم المساواة جميلا على مسامعنا، لكن حقيقة الأمر: أن تلك الإذابة تقتضي خلق مجتمع متساوي.. لكن في فقره، إذ لا خيار آخر تطرحه المساواة، وإن كنت تظن إمكانية خلق مجتمع غني متساوي فذلك وهم أفلاطوني غير قابل للتحقق.

لذا، وإن سألتني ما الذي أفضله؟
أفضل التفاوت الطبقي الذي يحمل الفقير على السعي أملا في الوصول، على المساواة الحتمية التي تقضي على شغف الإنسان للترقّي.

ولا أجد -من منطلق ديني إسلامي- عيبا في التفاوت "ورفعنا بعضهم فوق بعض درجات ليتخذ بعضهم بعضا سخريا"، وأظن أن الوصف الذي قرأته عن طبقة البروليتاريا وصف مألوف يزخر تاريخ البشرية به، وليس نتاج الطبقة البرجوازية والمفهوم الرأسمالي الحديث، وإن ساهمت الرأسمالية في تكثيفه.

لذا: طبقات متفاوتة مع باب مفتوح للجميع، مقدم على مساواة تصفد الأبواب أمام المرء للتحسين.
وإنشاء منظمات حقوق، وصك قوانين تحافظ على حد أدنى للمعيشة الآدمية، بعضها يكمن في النظام الإسلامي: مثل “فرض الزكاة” حل مقدم على المنطق الشيوعي في التعامل مع الواقع الاقتصادي للمجتمع.
طبعا مشاكل الرأسمالية كثيرة، ولا زالت الدراسات بحثا عن العلاج مطروحة، لكن المؤكد أن الشيوعية ليست إحدى البدائل..

Basically an FAQ on communism. Engels poses and answers a bunch of basic questions about the motivations, goals, and means of communists. Doesn't respond to any criticisms, so it's probably best for a fledgling communist. Parts of it are pretty specific to Europe in the 19th century, but the more general information is still a useful primer on what someone means when they describe themselves as a Marxist.

I used to rate this book 2 stars. Now I give it 3.
This is a very good introduction to Marxist theory. One would expect, however, some “principles of communism” in this text. Ironically, that’s just what is lacking. In this short text Engels covers lots of stuff in Marxist sociology and economics as well as then recent history. As regards politics, Engels explains the Marxist position on the economy but not on the state. In the Critique of the German Ideology Engels did do so. Why skip over this in the catechism for the whole communist movement? How, if breaking with the Lassalleans over their statist positions was necessary, was it not crucial to put this into the programme? That is why I rated it so low and it is still not higher than 3 right now.

Section 18 contains material on the Marxist economic programme. Particularly subsection V should by taken note of. Much of this section contradicts the extreme radicalism of the ultra left or left communists.

بالنسبة لي أول مرة أقرء كتاب عن الشيوعية . الكتاب بسيط وخفيف لمن هم متعودين لقراءة مثل هذه الكتب اما بالنسبة للمبتدئين انصحهم بقراءة الكتاب بتمعن وبدقة
في هذا الكتاب تعريفات واساسيات مبادئ الشيوعية فانجلز كتب في هذه الكراسة مجموعة من الاسئلة والأجوبة بترتيب وابهام
وفي هذا الكتاب ايضاً اجوبة وتوضيحات لمفهوم الشيوعية وهدفها..
بصراحة ارى ان الشيوعية تحتاج الى تخصص دراسي كامل لنفهمها ولنفهم هدفها فكل حركة لها ايجابيات وسلبيات ..

This was a well-written and brief introduction to classic communist ideology; I read it in around 2 hours while taking notes and breaks to ponder. It is written in a Q&A format that allows for concise answers to some of the most common questions for those who are beginning to learn about communism. Any historical contextualization was necessary and did not feel excessive. Personally, I found it to be a much easier read than The Communist Manifesto, and I think people would benefit from reading this before other communist texts to prevent burnout and confusion.

Sharp, clear, succinct, unsentimental. Lives in the shadow of the communist manifesto but it remains the shortest and clearest explanation of what communism is.

An interesting and foundational text in understanding communism. A lot of the basics are present in the text - the concept of class struggle, the exploitation of the proletariat by the bourgeoisie, the call to nationalise the means of production, planned economy etc.

From my perspective, it is hard to disagree with the statement of the problem. It is the proposed solutions and extrapolations that are in some ways that is problematic. It is argued that removing private property will free the proletariat, but how? Of course this class is by definition landless, but provision of land will not necessarily solve the problem (perhaps the state managed economy will do so?).

The section on family implies that there will no longer be a need for family as the state will take care of children and there will also be no need for the institution of marriage. I found this a bit troubling. Would the state take children from their parents? By force? What if people wanted to get married?

All in all, a thought provoking book with some good points but some serious flaws. We also see some very early examples of common themes, such as the left eating its own. In book shy of 50 pages, Engels finds time to dunk on some socialists.

هذا الكتاب المقدم بصورة موجزة وبسيطة لا يحتاج إلى تقييم..!! فهو ببساطة يسرد البيان الشيوعي لإنجلس ثم يسرد مقتطفات لما تلاه من بيانات صادرة عن عدد من قيادات عصبة العادلين وبالأخص بعد تحولها إلى مسمى العصبة الشيوعية ومقالات في الذود عنها وعن الحركة في إحدى أهم المراحل في تاريخ الحركة الشيوعية العالمية..وهو بالتأكيد مقدمة لقراءات تالية عنها..

Para empezar a formarte en comunismo está bastante bien. Tiene un estilo de pregunta/respuesta que hace que comprendas todo a la perfección, siendo bastante ágil y es una lectura perfecta antes de meterte de lleno en el Manifiesto Comunista.

بدايه بتعريف الشيوعيه ، وما هي البروليتاريا ، والفرق بين العامل والعبد ، وتاثيرات الثوره الصناعيه ، وكيف سيتم الغاء الملكيه الخاصه ، والشيوعيه والاسره ، والديانات ايضا ، ومن هذا الكلام ،

A great Communism 101. Engels' writing is incredibly clear and organized, just how I like my theory. In 40-or-so pages, Engels precisely outlines the conditions of communism as the liberation of the proletariat. In depicting the unique circumstances that have brought into existence society's current evils and the proletariat class, Engels effectively paints communism as the only solution.

(9/10) Nice blatant statpad to kick the year off. Could've sworn I already read this but it's not long and a refresher doesn't hurt either. Clear, concise, and only a little bit outdated, somehow
