This is an in-depth study of the herbal and magical properties of our most common trees. It's a book of considerable caring and expertise - a book to affirm our deeper values more openly and in daily life, with practical herbal remedies and recipes for healthy body, mind and spirit. Tree Medicine, Tree Magic presents both an homage to the deepest mysteries, and a down-to-earth how-to-do-it herbal.

There is a lot of varied and useful information contained in this volume as to identification of the trees described as well as practical and traditional magical uses. A very good guide in my opinion.
Interesting format filled with information on significant trees, mostly indigenous to North America. I liked the inclusion of Native American information on the tree types. I was disappointed in how conifers were all listed under Pine and the limited number of Oak species covered.
