One aim in the publication of these little books, is to suggest how you can increase your force. In other words, how to so apply your spiritual power as to bring to you and others the best results and the most happiness. The evolution of force out of ourselves can be greatly hastened and assisted by the aid of others who similarly desire force, and who desire it in a similar spirit...
Una joya para quien quiera entender cómo los pensamientos crean nuestra realidad y que lo posible o imposible está más ligado con nuestra creencia que con datos exteriores. Sencillo: nos convertimos y manifestamos lo que plantamos en nuestro pensamiento.
Prentice says "Love is an element as literal as air or water". This book is about how greatly our "Thought Forces" affect us and everyone around us, and what we can do to live happier and healthier lives and to gain peace of mind. I guess it could be considered kind of "preachy" but it's in an easygoing manner and there are many gems of wisdom. It's nearly 30 years since I read it and I can see where it's had some positive influence on my life, though I have to had along with other sources of similar ideas. It's somehow more peaceful to read than modern self help gurus, perhaps that she even devotes a chapter to Repose. I think it's also a reminder that human nature hasn't changed much, if at all. On the other hand it does feel a bit long-winded, and very "old world". Approach with an open mind.
