It takes a model-based approach to key systems engineering design activities and introduces methods and models used in the real world. Features new to this edition This book is designed to be an introductory reference and textbook for professionals and students in systems engineering. It is also useful in related courses in engineering programs that emphasize design methods and models.
Good concepts, laborious presentation. Very wordy, only showing model diagrams where he didn't need to and skipping over ones that really could have used it. Editing was not good; very frequent typos, which at times made the content virtually impossible to understand.
This book is quite laborious. I do think the information contained is helpful in learning how to model effectively for scope work, but the book could have easily been cut in half. I appreciated the examples as a visual learner and their ties to SySML.
