Winston and Charlotte, this was my first book from this author. I enjoyed the storyline and the main two characters. Charlotte was on the run from her ex abusive boyfriend and find protection from someone else.
But I didn't expect it to be this bad. I just wish authors would do a bit more research into what a Wolf Alpha is. If this was an omegaverse I possibly wouldn't bat an eyelid. There are plenty of other issues with the story. This pack is big enough to have its own town and the "Alpha" who runs it All can't go into one of their (His pack, His) restaurants because another wolf told him no.... LOL ....
So it's frowned upon, well, a death sentence for mixed breed children. Yet the "Alpha" slept with a human woman with no protection and didn't think maybe just maybe be more careful???
There are so many things wrong with his alpharing (just go with me here) I'm shocked no one has challenged him already. The poor child is meant to be hidden, yet the house is not even secure, come on now.
The heroine... what kind of staying hidden happens when one is wandering around willy nilly? Hasn't changed her hair, covered up her scent and on top of that ran straight to her best friend. The ex must not be a very intelligent wolf or motivated much. Needs to buy "How to be a stalker. For beginners"
I actually thought she was a mixed breed herself or that her ex had bitten her. How does a human sense shifters?
I will stop my ranting before it's as long as the book. I probably will give this author a skip from now on, seeing as I couldn't even finish 100 pages.
My first touch with a shapeshifting story after many years. In general the writing is pretty good, keeps you at edge to continue the story. Although it seemed to me that the romance was pretty quick, i would love to have maybe one or more scenes with more sexual tension. The fight scene was quite decent, wanted to have more i would say yes. In overall i quite enjoyed reading it, i recommend it 😁😁.

Charlotte Franklin is hoping to find a way to keep herself hidden from her cruel and possessive ex-boyfriend, Griffin Miller, an Alpha wolf who continues to relentlessly stalk her despite her rejecting him. Winston Campbell is a kind, protective Alpha wolf who needs help with his son Kaiden. He has to keep him safe because, when he bred with a human, which he was not supposed to do, it could bring on trouble with the pack. So Winston hires Charlotte who is wonderful with his son. Her being there gives them both what they need. And his wolf finally gets the message across to him that she is his fated mate. But when she is kidnapped by her ex-boyfriend, Winston and his pack need to rescue her. And he knows what she means to him. He would give his life to safe her. Will they find her in time before Griffin beats her to death for resisting him? Will they be able to get her back? Or will Winston’s fight to the death with Griffin finally decide everything at last?
This story was well-written and held the reader’s interest. There were so many things going on and truths to be figured out. Is there any hope for a HEA?
This story could’ve definitely been a lot better. The writing style wasn’t quite there for me. It was very fast paced and quick to end. The story has many holes in it, and/or things that didn’t make sense. Charlotte is a human but she can ‘sense’ when a person is a wolf, yet we have no explanation for it. Winston didn’t want to reveal that they are wolves because he thought she didn’t know about them…Yet, when he had to shift in front of her he never felt the need to explain about the existence of his kind. If Charlotte and her best friend were always inseparable, how did Griffin not think to check her best friends place first?? It was an ok read. I don’t believe I will continue with the rest of the series, though. The story didn’t seem like it was meant to go into full details of anything. It felt more ‘prop’ like, as in ‘here’s a book; read it and like it’ sort of thing.
Charlotte is trying to escape an ex-boyfriend, and this has her friends helping her find a job further away from them. Winston is an Alpha wolf raising his half human son in secret. He hires Charlotte to be the nanny to help him out some. When she arrives, she has no clue how much her life would change. Charlotte and Winston dance around their attraction and when his son and Charlotte are attacked by rogue wolves, she stands her ground to keep him safe at her own injury. Just as they are settling back from that her ex finds out where she is and causes trouble. Will Winston claim her as his own? Can he help her with her ex?
This is an amazing story that once I started it I couldn't put it down. This is a well written and very entertaining story. Its a book that any book lover would enjoy.

This book is a quick but very eventful ride. I was immersed in the story from the beginning because the author describes things vividly. The story feels short but a lot is happening so I was able to finish the book quickly.
Charlotte is scared and trying to find a safe place to hide from her stalker ex-boyfriend.
Winston is an overworked Alpha who suddenly finds himself a dad.
Fate steps in to give them both what they need.
There isn't a lot of depth to the story but if you are looking for something to pass the time, this can keep your mind occupied.

It wasn't very well-written. I'm not quite sure how to describe it, except maybe...juvenile. It feels really basic. The characters weren't very well developed, and the instalove factor is a big "no" from me. We get a so-called "alpha" that his pack doesn't really obey...we know nothing about Charlotte, other than that she met a psycho in high school... we don't even know anything about Griffin (like where does his obsession with Charlotte come from?)...Ugh...
Like I said, not horrible...but not really good, either. This could be so much better. I hesitate to read any more books im this series.
This book was entertaining for all the wrong reasons. The premise was great, the execution not so much. The writing is all over the place, needs better proof reading and editing. The characters had very little development, and there wasn't any semblance of interest from the FMC and the first kiss seemed very not consensual. The pack "system" is not explained properly, is he the alpha for the whole town? How did she not know what a pack is if she dated another wolf? There was no tension or romance in the lead to the smut scene, I didn't even knew the FMC was interested in the MMC that much, only she found him handsome.

I enjoyed the book 'Alpha Wolf's Secret Nanny' by Anika Skye. The woman is running away from an alpha wolf who is determined to possess her even though she has spurned him. She goes into hiding and travels far away to become a nanny for a baby boy. Little did she know she was coming into the household of another Alpha wolf. The difference in the two alphas is staggering though. Where the other one was domineering and cruel, the new one is considerate and loving. Just as she is reveling in this newfound love the old one appears to take her back with him.
Charlotte takes a job as nanny tp baby Kaiden to try and escape her stalker. Charlotte Franklin is hiding from the mistake she made as astudent when she got involved with Griffin who she find is possessive and a wolf. She has been hiding sleeping in a secret cubby hole at her friend Samantha's but then Samantha applies for a job of nanny a long way away looking after young baby Kaiden. She flies to Bradbury finds herself in Alpha Winston's home caring for his weeks old son Kaiden.

This books was a quick read with a super protective alpha male and such a sweet loving female main character. It was a fast but super enjoyable read full of emotions and bravery on both sides. Not a ton of detail but it was such a smooth read I don’t mind! If you want a read with a protective alpha male a pretty damn creative story line with a side of sexy this book is for you!.

Quick read : Alpha hires nanny whose on the run from a stalker wolf shifter from her past, all the while slowly falling for Charlotte as she takes care of his son. Lot’s of hot /cold between Winston and Charlotte as they try to find their way to each other in a shifter world that abhors human/shifter relationships. Throw in she’s his nanny and on the run from another wolf shifter and you have a fairly good 4⭐️ read. When the heat finally starts there’s no stopping them so 18+ please.
Anika Skye is a fairly new author to me, but I have to say that this book Alpha Wolf's Secret Nanny is a great story. The story keeps you glued to your book from start to finish, the characters were also fantastic. There is danger, suspense, action drama and also steamy scenes. I could say much more but can only say that this is a must read for yourself. Ms Skye is an author I will be reading more of.

The story was ok and it has potential. However I feel that it was too short, and there are a lot of plot holes left unresolved. Maybe expanding it to a full length novel would be a good idea. I do love the main characters, and it was a shame that they were not developed as much do to story length. Overall, the main plot was resolved, but it felt really rushed.

Mates 3 ½ stars. - I'm on the fence with Charlotte and Winston’s story. Plot started out promising. There is a bit of mystery as to what’s going on with Charlotte. Once she became a nanny to Winston’s kid, the attraction between them started. Winston tried to deny it but his wolf couldn’t be dissuaded. The story is shorter than what I’m used to but it is still interesting. I received an advanced copy and voluntarily chose to review it.
Wolf’s Secret Nanny by Anika Alpha Skye Charlotte is hiding out at Samantha and Jared’s house from an ex-boyfriend. Samantha tells her she found her a job as a nanny, and she booked her a plane ticket to get there. This is a sweet love story with a few twists and turns. It is a fast page-turner read. Winston & Charlotte: he is a alpha of a clan with a baby he does know what to do with him and his sister keeps telling him he needs more help then just a few people. She's be running from her ex boyfriend for while and with the help of her best friends she gets a nanny job hours away from him, hoping she'll be safe.
This needs to be proof read!! Using one name for the male leads , several times. Needs to be more in depth! Expand on characters!! Hardly any explanation on so much that it's just so--so! ? In beginning you start to build up, then totally lost! I had no understanding of what just happened.
Set when wolves didn't accept human mates, this is a story of a woman running from a wolf boyfriend who won't accept that she wishes to end their relationship, so she has to run and hide. Friends help her find a job far away in hopes the ex won't find her again, but she is attracted to her new boss! What happens now? Read the book to get your answers!
This book is about a wolf that had a child with a human and is doing everything to protect him. Winston hires Charlotte to be his sons nanny. What he didn’t expect was a fated mate and he would do anything to protect. This book is sweet and the chemistry is off the charts.
Winston star gazed too much for an Alpha. Geez he almost got himself offed when he should have been concentrating on the moment at hand. At one point I thought Charlotte was a witch or something. I really enjoyed this book.
I love shifter romances. I love when they are quick and easy to read as well! This book was just that! Bravo to the author on an easy, sweet and spicy shifter romance with my favorite nanny/single dad romance!!!
Loved Winston and Charlottes book read it from cover to cover and hated it ended. I could have read it longer to get a few years more of them! Happy Reading!
This was my first book by this author, but it won't be the last. I loved the main characters, as well as the secondary characters. They were well developed. The story flowed effortlessly. I read this in one setting.
This book is full of grammatical errors and plot holes. The story is rushed in a way that everything seemed like a plot point, but with no line to form a true storyline. The author actually mixes up character names in some scenes.
I could not put the book down! There was something happening on every page. You could feel the fear that Charlotte had. Along with the suspense, then there was kidnapping, and finally happiness and love and acceptance. Wonderful book!
