The Fear Factor

Rate this book
Why am I afraid? Many people live a life of fear (or at times in fear) of things they do not understand. These fears can rob a person of the joy of life and intimacy with other people and God. This book does not advocate a life without fear because some fears are helpful and God-given. It does, however, set up principles and practices that can help us live a life with less fear. It looks at the origins of fear and how they can be overcome. Christians have a powerful resource to help them to live a life free of crippling fears. Along with sound psychological principles, the author also points out the power of God to help us. For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love and of self-discipline (2 Timothy 1:7).
