I love this cookbook and I consider it one of my standbys. There's a pleasing mix of comfort food and Indian cuisine. The potato salad recipe is to die for! Be warned however - their instructions for breadmaking leave much to be desired, and crosschecking with other recipes I believe that they've called for half the amount of flour that is required!

every recipe i've tried is delicious -- i particularly like their "house salsa" recipe. the recipes err on the side of healthfulness, but you'd never know it.

i am a chain supermarket kind of gal at heart, though, so this book calls for too many weird ingredients i wouldn't know how to begin to find.
