Homeopathy uses unique remedies prescribed to match precisely the symptoms of a sick person. This book includes the principles of homeopathy, a therapeutic guide to the treatment of a range of conditions, and lists of appropriate homeopathics.

He has been a spiritual seeker since his youth, and is a fully ordained lay Tibetan Lama or Ngakpa of the Nyingma tradition.
My mother gifted this book to me shortly after I was married and I’ve used this book many times over the last 10 years to help me find a homeopathic medicine for some acute health issue.
My first son at birth had a really large hematoma on his head that I was told by many people would go away. Well it calcified and turned into a lump on his head. I guess that’s what they meant by “go away”? I wish I had looked up a medicine in the book. My second child had two large hematomas on both sides of his head. I gave him the medicine specific to hematomas listed in this book under bruises and both of the hematomas were gone in just a couple of days.
Homeopathy is a powerful yet gentle and nontoxic system of medicine. I first saw its effects when my mother got rid of her migraines when I was a kid. Since then I’ve seen my mother help sick animals, a friend with sciatica just to name a few things I remember. So glad she gifted me this book and more recently I started collecting books on homeopathy.
*Almost a mirror image of his herbal remedy book, I recommend them as companion guides. The rating is as a companion guide, not on the same scale as other standard herbals*
Like his other book on herbal remedies, Asa Hershoff, ND, divides the source into an easily readable guide. He started out with a long chapter on homeopathic advantages, research on the remedies, their types, history of, and more. This include types of pain, taking the remedies, doses, and processes. The treatment index guide is broken into sections identical to the herbal guide. Each condition is listed alphabetically under its condition, with a brief intro on the problem and how to solve it, followed then by a list of homeopathic remedies by name only then 3-4 lines below. Each line has a different reason for using it. Stars are by the homeopathic remedy, signifying how recommended it is. One star means a weaker treatment, while five is obviously highly regarded.
While in no means a comprehensive 'teaching' text, it's not meant to be. Instead it's a reference that allows easy location of conditions and their treatment, with notes jotted down. Concise, clear, and good to grab in a pinch.
A very good concise reference for someone who already knows about homeopathy. Not so good for a real beginner. It can be very brief in sections and you need to know how to refer to other material medica and other sources
