The correct title for this book is “50 Copyright Free Detective Stories I Can Assemble and Publish at No Cost To Me” Because that is what it is. If you are a sucker for the greatest this and greatest that. Be warned. Know what you get is just a random collection of very old stories with expired copyrights. Then published and printed cheaply in India. The copyright page only covers the entire collection, not the individual stories of the authors. So, the quality of the stories ranged from the unreadable to standard old classics of Sherlock Holmes. I even suspect the name Terry O’brien is just a western sounding name of a south asian with a long unpronounceable name. Why? You can’t even find his name on the cover of my copy of the book!
