Sundrop Dagger

Rate this book
Freedom is a dream.

A dream I've dreamed a million times in the shape of yellow floating lanterns.

Most of my life has been hidden away, only to be used for my magical hair. Tower or cell makes no difference what shape the walls that keep me from living. Birthday after birthday, I've dreamed of something better.

Life seems circular until my twenty-first birthday. An unlikely group of males gathers at my side, and a chance encounter with the Goddess Prax turns my dreams into destiny. Sundrop Dagger in hand, I must stand with my small but mighty army and forge a path of vengeance.

Will I be strong enough to end the rule of Thayer, or will I spend the end of my days in the darkest dungeons of Wolgast as punishment for my brashness?

Magical hair that heals and a dagger that steals.

Vengeance or death?

Only the stars know.Sundrop Dagger is a Dark RH Romance Fairytale Retelling Standalone in part of the Blades of Vengeance world. Reading the other books is not needed. This story is advised for 18+ due to graphic language, sexual scenes, and violent situations.

Welcome to my author page. My pen name is Rowan Thalia. I published my first novel on February 14, 2019.

I discovered very early on that I loved writing. Poetry was my first love and form of expression. I’ve written poems since I was sixteen and have quite the collection by now! Some of them you can find in my two poetry anthologies.

I’ve always been an avid reader and writer of short stories. My favorite author of all time is Anne Rice. In fact my pen name stems from one of her characters, Rowan, from The Witching Hour.

It wasn’t until 2017 that I decided to push through and write a full-length novel. I started Binding Rayne (which went through several title changes at first) but struggled with the direction. In the middle of the first draft, I happened upon the reverse-harem book community on facebook. The complicated romances rooted in my author heart and before long my book took on a new direction. The Keepers of the Talisman trilogy was born!

Since then, I have written and published many more reverse-harem romance novels, most of them paranormal in genre. Never to be one to sit idle, I’ve recently opened a second pen name - R. Thalia . With this name, I began the journey of writing my first (non-romance) paranormal thriller. I can’t wait to break out and show the book world my full range of capabilities.

Thank you for all of the support and love that has been shown toward my book babies so far, I hope to keep surprising you with bigger and better projects!

This is the next in line of the Blades of Vengeance series and it just continues to get better with each retelling of every fairytale. Rapunzel is a story we are very familiar with and Zelle does this lady justice by seeking out the ones who wronged her. With her mighty men by her side, vengeance is won.
I love the way this story plays out, Zelle is a strong character who tells her guys, follow or get out my way. I do appreciate that there is not just blind faith by the men, they are strong characters who play their parts very well. Ooooohh and Zelle's army needs a book of their own (I smell a spin off).
I am totally Team Finn, that boy needs some love and if anyone knows where to find me a unicorn, I am going to lick it and stake my claim.
I don't want to say too much, so just get your copy and read it. You won't regret it.

This book is so good! The characters are awesome and you immediately will fall in love with the storyline. Rapunzel has always been one of my favorite fairytales and this has such an interesting twist.
The fact that Zelle gets a harem to help her and protect her is awesome and well deserved after the life she has had. I also really liked that this was in the fae realm and some of her guys had abilities that were able to help her enact her revenge.
Overall I like that this series is all the same in terms of vengeance and the dagger being the linking quality but they are all different and interesting.

Rapunzel

The book was amazing with characters you quickly fall in love with throughout the storyline. Rapunzel goes to a journey and is able to get vengeance With a dagger being linked to it And the guy's helping her. This book is definitely a reread I will be keeping it and it is different from the others in the series Hopefully there will be more.
