The mind is a fascinating place. It’s a place of safety, power and peace. But it’s also a place that can bring us down, taunt us and even control us if we allow it to.
Having worked in mental health for over 20 years, I have seen how the mind can take over. I’ve also learnt that there are essential skills, powerful exercises and simple steps to reclaiming your power.
The best part?
We were all born to learn, and I am here to teach.
These are the building blocks that no one ever taught you.
So, are you ready to live your dreams? Or will you allow someone else to live them for you.

What you will learn from this book.
You will learn simple skills and lessons to help you transform parts of your world you are not completely happy with. The exercises and lessons outlined in the book are easy to follow and come from an author who has experienced mental health issues himself, so knows that using this knowledge can help let go of past hurts and become excited about the moment you are in.
This book is about the ups and downs of putting yourself first, about letting go of the baggage we all carry.

If you want to be inspired to make a change this book is for you, there is nothing more powerful than becoming the warrior of your own life.

About the author.
I have been teaching the lessons spoken about in this book for twenty years, in which time I have seen many people of all ages and backgrounds transform their lives.
I lived a destructive lifestyle for most of my adolescent years, using alcohol and drugs to mask what was really going on underneath.
This life experience means you are reading a book written from personal experience of these lessons, it hasn't just been studied from books. But from the reality of a sometimes-cruel world.
The book is an amalgamation of my life, the universal lessons that allowed me to let go and twenty years' experience of helping others become the versions of themselves.

Rare are the self help books that are not written by “experts “ in their field or individuals teetering on the brink of self righteousness. THIS is a book that is human, genuinely compassionate and caring and because it’s so relatable and positive and passionate, it’s inspiring. The tips and recommendations are also so helpful - I’ve got a brand new reading list through this! The story of a bloke who wanted better and set out to get it. It could be you, it could be me, but the author encourages us to believe that anything is possible and there is joy out there for all of us, if we only look for it. Fantastic book

This is my first published book, and I am extremely proud of it.
I have spent a life time learning and teaching these lessons, and this book is an opportunity to help more people take control of areas within their lives they want to change.
It is personal, written from someone who has experienced the ups and downs of life.
