The Golden Skulls were dead…well, that’s what the Society thought. The cost of freedom was great. The club had lost so much along the way, none more than me. All that was left was the clean-up. That was my job. All I had to do was make sure that those who were left never took their next breath. Everything the Golden Skulls have fought for and planned for has finally come to a head when the Society makes the first move. The cease-fire is now over. It’s now time to finish this so the club can have some kind of peace. That’s where I come in.
I knew going into this that I would be the one to finish this. I am the club’s assassin. Have been from the very beginning. Only, I didn’t expect life to throw me a curveball. Now I have something to live for and someone waiting for my return. I’ve given so much to this club and lost so much more. To do what needs to be done, I will have to trust in others to protect my soul because to finish this war; I will have to walk away from my dream.
Help comes from unexpected allies and friends thought lost forever when the truth comes out. The time for the Golden Skulls to end this war has come. It’s kill or be killed because when the bullets start flying, I always hit my mark. I’m no longer fighting for what’s right or wrong. This time, I am fighting for my future. My future is mine. Mine to protect.
Finally they bring down the Society and the others. They find out that there was much more to everything than they knew. Keeps you turning the pages.
Only thing is who was the man with Bullseye? was it the same one that messaged Phantom? How is it possible they new of every move the club made. It was hard to believe because if that was the case why didn't he help it would of saved lives. Still so many questions.
I am wildly delighted with these books. Rebecca and her books were the discovery of the year for me and will become top ones. She really did an incredible job. To twist the plot like that, so much has happened, it's just on the verge of madness. SHE'S THE BEST IN THIS GENRE. All the heroes who went through this difficult path with earned their happily ever after. They are incredibly strong, devoted to both their women and men, MC,and loyal, their spirit cannot be broken, the willpower they showed was simply incredible, they always came to the rescue and did not abandon anyone. Their souls and hearts are so tender and beautiful. They've been to hell and come back from there. Yes, we lost many, but many remained. I don't have any bad books in this series, but there are two insanely favorite ones that I want to reread even now. I am truly happy for Dylan and Lena. They've been through a lot, and fate has been very harsh to them. And the road to reunification is even darker. But they overcame everything and that's the most important thing. I recommend everyone to read this series. 🖤🖤🖤
What can i say? It's the most far-fetched MC I've ever read.. I mean, taking down a whole secret society, cults, mafias, cartels, and its well-connected members by a few men. I skipped to last book just to see what happened. And dont get me started on having sex after years of brutal rapes and abuse in just a few weeks. Im shocked the Golden skulls had members left... way too many betrayals and traitors to even make sense. There are way too many members with secrets, too... sometimes less is more.
Firstly, really disappointed this wasn't on ku and that it was priced at €5.99 which for an ebook is way too high. I never pay this much for an ebook. To have most of the series on ku but the wedding n this final book not, plus so overpriced is not exactly encouraging readers to read your series!! Bad decision ms Royce.
...and its such a shame because this is a really fantastic biker series, not the mills n boon crap that other authors are churning out to jump on the mc bandwagon either but hard, gritty and edgy.
The finale reveals all, who is behind everything, who needs to die and who gets to live.
It wasn't really a book about Dylan, more the whole ensemble.
For those of us that have read the whole series (except the wedding book) it brings it to a satisfying conclusion. Finally tying up all those loose ends.
Theres lots of killing obviously and lots of sex. For me this has been a detraction from the books. Dont get me wrong I love hot sexy af sex scenes but these just became formulaic and boring and I ended up skimming through them. Royce needs to learn when less is more.
Overall a great series but damn my purse is hurting at the cost of this book. It was sort of worth it because I'd read the series, I wanted, no needed to know the end but its a cynical way to treat your readers.
If I start another series of hers I'm going to check they're all ku, if she charges for 1 or 2 I won't even start the series.
So yeah loved the series, bad taste in my mouth about the cost of the final book. Can you tell im pissed?
That conclusion? Fuked with my head so u can only imagine what it did to Rebecca's as she was writing it
I aint saying shit about the storyline you'll need to read it for yourself and trust me, u need to read it.
I love all these characters and I need more of em. I need more sandman I need more Bull definitely cuz I claimed that mother fuker I even need more Reaper
Another Great Instalment of MCs v The Society, Division & Discples of The Word
If you’ve been reading this series then you can be assured that this book is definitely worth reading.
To sum it up, its more secrets, lies, misdirection, action (including some of the bedroom kind). Phantom and Bullseye (Lena & Dylan) could really have had their own series because there’s a lot between the three of them. The third person is of course Kitty.
The biggest downside to this series is that the spelling and grammar is awful there are times that you’re booted out of the flow of the story because of the poor editing.
Of the things that are bugging me about GSMC and other assorted MC spinoffs are, is Massacre really dead because he’s got his own book later on and he makes an appearance in one of the spinoff series. Secondly, is there more than one MC character called Steele? There’s one referenced in the Silver Shadows MC and another referred to in this book MC Prez Steele of Satan’s Angels MC.
Rebecca Joyce did not disappoint ever when it came to this series Golden Skull MC and all those they call family. If you start with Reaper and read each book I am pretty sure you will come to the same conclusion. Not going to give it away but a piece of advice think outside the box. Phantom and Bullseye are my favorite . in this book we get to see how deep their bond truly is. Throughout this series there was always one thing that was forefront FAMILY. That is all Dylan ever wanted and Reaper. THANK YOU MS JOYCE LOOKING FORWARD TO CHAPTER 2 OF GS
With the club finally regrouping, it was only a matter of time before Goldman and the society would show themselves once more, and Dylan was a man ready for all this to finaly end, but at what cost? And will the club ever be the same after all its been through? The high action andbdrama continues with more twists you don't see coming, players from the past re-emerge and shake the club but can they get through what's to come! Engaging read, not to be missed, so much information and clarity comes forward you'll be craving more.
This is the eight book in this phenomenal series, and what an amazing addition this story is! This is a well written action packed, emotionally charged story, with family, friendships, intrigue, danger, suspense, loyalty, lies, secrets, trust, mystery, challenges, humour, witty banter, loss, grief, revelations, violence, redemption, and unconditional love, which leads to an entertaining, tragic, twisted, and unpredictable captivating page turner. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.
To be honest, I skipped a large percentage of this book. It’s just WAAAY too convoluted. I prefer books with more to them than just sexy time but this was next level. By the end, I just didn’t care who double-crossed or back-stabbed who. Not to mention I needed a spreadsheet to remember who was related to who. I like the characters so hopefully the next in the series will be a bit less chaotic.
Holy Hell!! What a crazy roller coaster ride. Just when you think you know how it all ends then…BAM! I was not expecting that ending. It gets a bit confusing trying to keep all of the players and their places in the story straight but it was soooo worth it. Loved this whole series. Excited to see what comes next.
Well, everything has finally come full circle now! All of the secrets are out and everyone has paid the price. Dylan is full of chaos as usual, surprises, twists and turns. Just when you think you've got it all figured out, you turn a corner and all of a sudden nothing is as it was originally thought. What a fitting ending to all of the drama for the Golden Skulls MC.
Dylan’s a damaged man, and even though he’s settled with his true love - he’s determined to continue to rid the world of the scum who killed his wife, and tried to destroy his brotherhood.
Secrets and betrayals make Dylan an uncomfortable read. Though there’s a sense of righteousness, when this horrendous chapter for the Golden Skulls MC comes to a close.
I stumbled upon this series on ku. I'm kinda happy I did this is dark shocking pulls no punches and kicks you when you are down. And guess what you want to keep reading. Solid series up to this book. Lots of cliffhangers also a ton of twists. Very nice very evil series.
WOW!!! She did it again!!!! This is A MUST READ BOOK and SERIES!!! The ending was OMG!!!!! NEVER SEEN , THAT COMING!!! And it makes,SENSE. Start with Reaper, the series. Must read in order to really understand this series!!!! YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!!! I'M SO HOOK.
Highly entertaining characters with good interaction between each other. This story wraps up the whole series plot. It seems she's since I began the series that my memory did not serve me well and I became confused with all the 'enemy's' characters; who did what and why. Nevertheless I persevered. I was left feeling sorry for Sandman and am hopeful of his HEA.
Is this the true happy ever after. This author is so fantastic to read her books is truly amazing. It seems all has been tied up in a neat now. Or has it. On to my next book.
Dyaln... you took over 10 pages of notes in my personal notes while reading your story. Dylan: Golden Skulls MC Dylan by Rebecca Joyce (Book 8 of The Golden Skulls M.C.)
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Rebecca Joyce has truly outdone herself with "Dylan," the exhilarating eighth installment in the Golden Skulls M.C. series. From the very first page, the tension is palpable as our beloved protagonist, Dylan—aka Bullseye—finds himself at the center of a swirling conflict that pits the Golden Skulls against formidable forces including The Society, The Collector, and even the American Government. The stakes have never been higher, and the plot thickens as alliances are forged with unexpected factions like The Sons of Hell M.C. and The Valentinetti Crime Family.
Joyce's masterful storytelling keeps readers on the very edge of their seats, with twists and revelations that genuinely had my mind and what I thought BLOWN. The way she gradually peels back layers of mystery surrounding "The Society" is nothing short of brilliant; the big reveal left me gasping—literally gasping in shock it's a game-changer!
Lena's struggle with personal truths adds emotional depth to the story as she navigates family challenges and the weight of her past, and hard truths that come to light.
What I truly appreciate about "Dylan" is how meticulously Queen Joyce weaves together the storylines of previous characters while introducing new allies and former friends presumed lost. It seems that nobody is forgotten.... and those tiny lines in prior books you might have thought was unimportant, well guess what? They were HUGE nuggets of foreshadowing.
Each character's development feels authentic, making every revelation feel earned. This is not just about the action; it's about relationships, loyalty, and the consequences of choices made in high-stakes situations. It is about FAMILY
Rebecca Joyce’s writing pulls you in with rich details and vivid imagery, making the world of the Golden Skulls come alive once again. I can’t emphasize enough that to fully grasp the magnitude of this installment, one must experience the entire journey of the series. "Dylan" is not just a book; it’s an emotional rollercoaster that concludes this chapter of their story with a bang.
If you're a fan of the series or a newcomer, don’t miss out on this jaw-dropping finale that will keep you guessing until the very last page.... and still guessing when you finish the last page.
