Elisabetta Dami is an Italian author that currently resides in Italy. She is the author of the Geronimo Stilton series, a bestselling childrens book. She enjoys traveling the world seeking ideas for her series. She writes under a pseudonym of Geronimo Stilton. She is also a co-owner of Italian based publishing company Edizioni Piemme.

Such a heroic and fun adventure novel. Robin Hood is such a classic character. I admire him for everything he does. He is the master of disguise which just cracks me up when one gets fooled. I really like Robin Hood and his story.

L'ho letto a mio figlio di quasi 5 anni, gli è piaciuto, ma non come altri della serie, forse un po' troppo ripetitivo prima di arrivare alle scene degli ultimi capitoli dove c'è più "movimento"

4,5 étoiles & 5/10 coeurs. Ce livre n’est pas très fidèle au vrai Robin des Bois, mais c’est un livre passionnant et donne beaucoup de place à l’imagination. Les illustrations sont très bien faites aussi. La seule légère objection que j’ai à faire est que Marianne/Marion est  mentionnée comme « vivant dans la forêt avec Robin, » sans qu’il soit clairement indiqué qu’ils ne vivent pas ensemble.

4.5 stars & 5/10 hearts. This book isn't very faithful to the real Robin Hood, but it's an exciting book and leaves a lot to the imagination. The illustrations are also very well done. The only slight objection I have is that Marianne/Marion is mentioned as "living in the forest with Robin," without it being clearly stated that they don't live together.

Why not? - I make a hobby of comparing versions.

Knowing Alexandre Dumas, I find it a pity this reworking does not focus on a larger plot. It picks out the nicest stories and adventures alright, but what of the romance? And why not finish the story where it has to - inevitably?

Could have been more cheesy, Geronimo!
