Really a great find for a mature person with limited Spanish

I came across this book by chance and started on book two of the trilogy. I found the format worked for me and went on to order the rest of the trilogy and the other two recommendations.
I would love to have an audio of the story to help my pronunciation but reading this has certainly helped my vocabulary and inspired me to continue.
I would recommend this format to any age group of students with a very basic knowledge of Spanish.

This book is really helpful for me. The story is interesting and I'm learning a lot. I like that there's an english version. It helps me make sure I'm getting everything or most of it. Some other beginner books don't have that and I think I understand but for all I know I could missing a lot. I like this structure. I enjoyed the story. It's a great tool for beginners.

Very good for Spanish beginners. Was an easy read yet it still had lots of twists and turns. The vocabulary pages were very helpful in order to pick up new vocabulary as well as the reading comprehension section and the English translations for each chapter. Would recommend for anyone wanting to improve their Spanish or immerse themselves into the language more

I can tell how much my Spanish is improving as I found this second one a bit easier than the first to understand, recognising more words. They're a great format, easy to follow, and quick to make progress. Looking forward to the next instalment.

Fun story

Although the plot was implausible and the romantic part was similar to the author’s “Viaje a …” books, I enjoyed the story and learned a lot of Spanish along the way.

easy for a2-b1

So nice to understand almost every word and enjoy reading. Interesting storyline and it’s quite easy to follow without a dictionary
