The author has done his homework backed by a long list of references. I chose this book because I wanted to know more about intermittent fasting and whether it would be workable for me. This book gave me the information I need along with the usual section on recipes... some I plan to implement soon. As in all diets, there are no guarantees. We are all looking for the "golden ticket, I hope this is mine.

Not a vegetarian or vegan... The introduction is quite thorough and gives a good overview of the method and of the kinds of foods recomended for good nutrition and health. The recipies part, however, is lacking if you are a vegetarian.
