YOUNG PHOENIX

Rate this book
To the quiet town of Cody, Wyoming, the East Gate of Yellowstone, came a stranger, down on his luck and with nothing to lose. Bumping into his best friend from high school—happenstance, or was it part of a plan to bring a sinister past to the unsuspecting Turnbow family? Nicholas Turnbow’s family had moved from California to Wyoming when he was five and he didn’t think twice about it. It was just him, Dad, and Mom--hiking, biking, kayaking, and camping in the wilderness that is Wyoming. Life was good, but he’s twelve now and things are changing, too fast for his liking. It’s time for him to ‘grow up’ and he doesn’t have the luxury of time or knowing who he can trust. He finds himself alone in that wilderness with his dad’s old friend wanting him dead. Can he stay one step ahead of the man who is after him and find out the truth about why his family fled California before he becomes the next victim?

I loved this book!

Kept me reading through the day. Brought me into the characters and the action through the story. Captured the young boys endurance.
