I didn't want to fall. It was hard enough loving a man who wasn't dangerous, but to fall for someone I knew came with chaos wasn't a good idea. However, the heart wants what the heart wants. Mine wants Dimitri even when it should know better.
Dimitri
She tried to deny destiny, but in life, you can't run from the one whom you are meant to love. She was mine to hold, keep, love, and guard with everything in me. If you come for what's mine, expect to forfeit your life because no one touches who belongs to me.
I love this series and patiently waiting for the other stories. The plot twist the action and love is so well written. Can't wait to read more from this author oh and to finish this series. If you love alpha male, strong female and a well written adventure look no further.
I love this series. Dimitri was a total Alpha male. I'm glad I got to some people getting what they deserved in this story. Can't wait for the next installment.
What’s not to like the book, gives me romance, action, drama, everything you need in a good book especially a book that slightly involves the Bravata. Lol what I also love about this book is the fact that gives you hints of future books between characters and I can’t wait for those books. I love this one, but I can’t wait for the other books.
The themes in this book are so heavy-handed. Addy was insufferable. She must have called Dimitri "daddy" a thousand times. The rich white man saves the broke black woman from the horrible black men from her past is the entire theme of this series. There's no sophistication here. Everything is forced. This book is weirdly preachy, too. I know these books are supposed to be fun, escapism for black women, especially & I think that's great. However, everything is so over the top that it's not remotely believable. Ayanna, Lauren, Ash, Yara & Nyah ALL ACT & TALK THE SAME! Why is that? It's the same sassy black girl hero worshipping a man while talking about their vaginas ENDLESSLY. The idea that only one kind of black woman exists is so reductive & boring. That wedding with Ayanna's family took cringe to a new level. There are some cute moments here, but the author's obsession with this black Cinderella ( hood edition) trope really takes the air out of this entire series. All these women are interchangeable. I mean, we had Steve, his wife, Ayanna & and Dimitri, all talking about ayanna's magic P***y. It was so ridiculous that it felt like parody.
I was expecting more from this story. It felt very repetitive. The romance part was just ok. I wish we had more scenes between Addy and Dimitri. As for the suspense part, I found it lacking. Yara ‘s book had already explored the ex who couldn’t let go, so I didn’t see the need for the repeat when his wife and him weren’t worthy opponents. The book felt more like an introduction to the next couples than a real dedicated book. The scene at the wedding felt unnecessary. All Ayanna had to do is to get security to escort them out. The constant rhetoric of « men ain’t shit » was also frustrating. It’s a romance novel, being open to men is a necessity.
Dimitri and Anyanna had to deal with some stupid people in their lives but, when he was protecting her and their daughter the love was so strong and a bond between them and their family will never be broken.
To my understanding Stephanie had 2 kids. One when they met and then got pregnant again. Or am I misunderstanding that part? The typo's are far to many for a author that's not new. A lot of moving parts and I was barely able to keep up.
Listen, I am patiently waiting for these love stories 🥰🥰🥰 Ashleigh & Michail Cameron & Alexei Nyah & Ro Cierra & Viktor
**********************************************
This was a really good read 🥰🥰🥰🥰 The drama, the action, the mystery, the suspense
********Dimitri & Ayanna & Addy******** Oh my....the love - the communication - the understanding
I enjoyed how Dimitri took such care with Ayanna & Addy Of their feelings, of how he loved them, of just understanding he had to be patient with Ayanna.
*******Ayanna's Mother WTAF. 😐🤨 She's the reason her daughter stays away
Yeah I would choose violence at that point
How the fuck do you bring a pedophile around other people children ....yeah like Ayanna said..... what you do in your house is your business...but NOT MY HOUSE
Cameron's mother...walked out as well SMDH
Yeah that sibling relationship was a little suspect
*******Stephanie & Steven *********** Where do you start in this SINKING SHIP OF TOXICITY OF A MARRIAGE
My goodness - I need Stephanie to explain, how Ayanna is a homewrecker 🗣️Yo husband is COMMUNITY DICK MA'AM Then he told your dumbass he was in love with someone else My Goodness just leave... take his money, make him pay you alimony But NOOOOOOOOOO got that ass whooped TWICE over the dirtiest of dirty dicks
AND THEN she thought it was a really good idea to try and kill Ayanna
Steven was effing delusional until the very end

Wonderful book. I thoroughly enjoyed Dimitri and Ayanna. The story moved at a good pace. There are a few editing and grammatical errors. However, the story still flowed. There are just enough teasers to keep the reader looking forward to more of this series. However, the story is focused on Dimitri and Ayanna finding the HEA. Ash, Noah, Cam, Cierra....who's up next? Powerful and possessive men and the strong, bold women they love. I do like that the author's female characters don't do the dumb stuff putting themselves and others in danger by ignoring a dangerous person or situation. Good read.
This third book in the series has a good storyline. A seamless flow, familiar, likable characters that grab and hold your attention. This is Dimitri and Ayanna’s story. Dimitri has waited patiently for Ayanna, loving and protecting her and her daughter. Their HEA is finally in sight. But, someone from Ayanna’s past surfaces threatening their happiness and peace. I enjoyed catching up with Sacha, Yara, Nyah…Cam. Picking up on the clues of stories to come. Read this book. Dimitri the fierce protector and Ayanna his spirited kick behind soulmate. With all of the strong, possessive protectors and their equally strong feisty women they love.
OK these books have me I couldn't put them down so good the characters the story the action the love it seemed like every bad situation you could go through with a no good man and put it in these books I really enjoy them I just hope it continued I need to know are we going to go into the rest of the people's stories please you have you have fan in me I will be checking you can't leave us hanging like this thank you such a enjoyable read
A good read, I do hope there is going to be more in this series? Great characters with exquisite storytelling. I only have 1complaint and that is the editing, while I would not let it ruin my reading pleasure, if in the next books we can fix that I could then rate five stars. I recommend you will enjoy.
Renee Williams is amazing! Great stories… I couldn’t put the books down!! Where is Nyah’s story? Will Cam and Alexei become an item? What happen to Matteo? Does Victor get with Cierra?? More books please!!
Enjoyed this next installment. Loved Dimitri, Ayanna and Addy. Petty enough to give only 4 stars mostly because I HATE waiting to find out what happens next 🤷🏽♀️🤓😆
