A+ : A Lesson About Soul

Rate this book
Soul is Who We Are, Not Something We Have

In the illustrated "A+ A Lesson About Soul," our identity as eternal Soul is what Grandma explains to her young
grandson when she lovingly shares why she is not afraid to face her impending death.

This book is about life in the future, with a family's adults communicating relevant insights to their two preteens, each of whom raises a pressing question. One is concerned about her future and being replaced by androids. The other wonders why the family's amazing android can't solve Grandma's terminal condition.

The “plus” in this book refers to our eternal energy as humans, which is different from artificial intelligence in robots. " A+" addresses the magical quality of Soul to exist beyond time and in all dimensions. As Grandma Carter expresses her understanding of this, she helps to dissipate fear, explains the mystery of life beyond death, and creates peace of mind for both family members and readers. In the end, even Andrew, the Android, is okay with his being a finite, non-living entity.

A self published author stated, "Parents will welcome the ideas the author has woven into this carefully crafted
family tale."

One twelve year old felt it helped him face the upcoming death of his great-grandpa. “A+” is also a great gift for people of all ages. An adult reader said, “This story spoke to me, right where I am now.”.

"A+ A Lesson About Soul" is for parents to share timely matters with their children,
for young readers who ask meaningful questions,
and for adults who enjoy picture books.
