Florence Littauer is a Christian self-help author and public speaker. Littauer is best known for her series of books based upon the Personality Plus personality system. She was listed as one of Helen K. Hosier's "100 Christian Women Who Changed the Twentieth Century" and has received the National Speakers Association's Council of Peers Award for Excellence and has been designated by them as a Certified Speaking Professional.

Books on people's personality are inherently problematic because people are people and cannot be pigeonholed into nice neat categories. Stereotypes are useful in the study of personalities, but readers should be aware that they are averages or norms. The authors of this book have done a good job of describing common mixes of personality profiles and teaching the reader how to understand the personality mix of the people around them. This makes the book far more practical and valuable, instead of merely describing the personality of a stereotype that is actually quite difficult to find in real life (just as it is difficult to find an American family with 1.14 children).

Reading this book is insightful and eye-opening. It helps the reader better see the people around them, educates them, and enables them to be more compassionate and accepting instead of expecting people to change. It is a short read that is engaging and entertaining along the way to teaching some valuable skills in reading other people's personality correctly.

Seorang sahabat memperkenalkan dan memberikan buku ini padaku saat ku baru lulus study di depok...sangat menarik! mengetahui kepingan-kepingan kepribadian di tempat kerja...dengan berbagai karakter teman kerja, relasi, bos hingga sesama karyawan di tempat kerja yg sama.

Ku jadi tau sifat dan karakter seseorang secara umum ada empat: Melankolis, Koleris, Sanguin, Phlegmatis...begitu pun perihal di tempat kerja yang mendasari sifat2 seseorg dalam melakukan pekerjaannya.

It's funny to apply what I've learned from this book to daily live at my formal office as project manager in an foreign embassy. It's realy fun to know how we can put our self in a certain cituation for a certain reason with a certain values. It gives me a huge personal satisfaction during my time in that office, and I'm glad I could be a nice collage and companion for the most people in that ofice.

giving out people's character organization with examples.. easy to understand.

i used to build my basic perception on a person based on this book, while build up my own understanding of vast broad of real people's characters.

At first, characters are divided into 4 categories, and then, it is cross combined in couples giving 12 possibilities of characters...

However, now.. i used to put blank perception on first encounter with a person, avoiding bad prejudice.

Memberikan banyak sekali pelajaran berharga bagaimana menempa kepribadian diri sendiri dan memahaminya sehingga dapat memahami dan membina kepribadian orang lain.Mengepaskan tiap tipe kepribadian dalam puzzle kehidupan ini akan sangat membantu kita dalam membangun sebuah hubungan yang positif. buku ini kelanjutan dari personality plus dengan pengarang yang sama. buku ini mengupas lebih dalam tentang masing masing karakter (phlegmatis, melankolis, koleris, dan sanguinis) dan juga kombinasi di antaranya. buku ini recommended bagi kamu yang ingin tahu lebih jauh tentang karakter orang, terutama yang ingin mendalami psikologi.

This book was repetitious. I would have rather read the one for couples or children which I just may anyways but this gave u the concept/ foundation of what personality puzzle is about. I would recommend for those in work environment and for owners.

Okay introduction to the four personality types: melancholic, sanguine, choleric and phlegmatic and how that might play out in a work context.

Useful as a guide, but not one that I would consider a must-have book on people skills at work.
