Illumination: A Gnostic Handbook for the Post Modern World

Rate this book
Illumination is about the pain of awakening to something hidden -- a secret kept from us since the beginning of time itself. A secret that surrounds us with such obvious force that it is missed with common regularity. This Gnostic Handbook has a disturbing edge to it, a challenge to everything that most of us have been taught and believe. It alarms sensitivities and insults lifestyles. It will scare those who wish to make more of this world than it is, for it will intensely confront the idea that there is any real meaning in this dark place other than recognizing its shadow nature. But for others, this Handbook will be a fresh breeze blowing liberation and validation of what they already know to be true. It speaks of an 'alien' presence within that draws us to another reality beyond the scope and nature of this universe.

A great overview of the gnostic perspective. I have read this book several times and each reading I find something new.
