Five years ago, Mark Jantzen's nightmares began when his wife and daughter were murdered by satanists, now when mutilated bodies begin appearing in his town, he realizes that the same group is responsible and he is determined to find a way to stop their murderous rituals
This book was pretty "Meh" to me. It follows a former police officer who's family was murdered by Satanist who just so happens to have the same old group of Satanist show up in his little town. The book tries but the story doesn't grab me. You are suppose to connect with the main character but it just wasn't happening. It just follows the same old, same old story: main character knows something's going on, always at the right place at the right time, able to get police and FBI to tell him things he shouldn't be told, solves and resolves the problems on his own.
This book had its usual cop avenging his family story, but I still liked it. It had some gruesome spots that kept me intrigued. I liked the way the book started out. All in all it was a simple, but good story.
