Frieda Hughes is an English poet and painter who has spent much of her life in Australia. She has published seven children's books and four poetry collections. She is the daughter of the poets Sylvia Plath and Ted Hughes.

To say I'm a fan of Frieda Hughes would be an understatement. I only recently discovered her, but I have been devouring her words a lot lately, and I'm just thrilled to know of her work now. This is an exceptional collection of poetry, and I cannot wait to read the rest of her books.
