If you're new to Linux and are giving openSUSE a try, then I'd highly recommend this book.

If you're otherwise a beginning to intermediate Linux user, who is giving openSUSE a try, then I'd "suggest" this book rather than recommend it. Most of the book is devoted to standard Linux stuff that you can find most any book about Linux. But there are parts that are SUSE-specific and that's why I bought the book.

It's a nice pocked-sized book and I didn't need a big honkin' one on openSUSE since I was already an intermediate Linux user.
