This was a childhood favorite of both my brother and myself. Our family even adopted the "Kid Napper!" call as our call to a meal. When I had my own children the book had been lost but I continued to use "Kid Napper!" as a call to dinner after verbally relating the story to my children. This unique call has continued on into a third generation as I now use it with my grandchildren.

Recently I was able to purchase this book again and have enjoyed reading it with my family. It continues to be a timeless favorite in my home!

My mother read this to my children every time we visited, even after they were adults. I am now reading it to my grandchild. It is a wonderful book and even though my girls have heard it thousands of time, they still get a hoot at the end.

This was a favorite our grandma always read to us - It might have been the only book she ever read to us. I just will always remember her saying, "Kids, supper" And when I used to call the kids for dinner, I thought of her almost every day.
