I found this book entertaining especially since I have visited several of the places but have not experienced anything. However, when I reached the chapter on Woodstone Manor, I was shocked to hear the exact story about the ghost Chloe because that is the tale told at the Myrtles in Louisiana. All the details and even the name are the same. Additionally, the author mentioned that a husband had been killed by an unknown person and dragged himself up the steps to his wife. That is also part of the Myrtles history, along with a mirror of handprints. That mirror is the most photographed item at the Myrtles! I have a photo myself. As a result, I didn’t know what to think! Two places cannot have the same exact stories. I think the author should do the Myrtles tour.

My brother got me this autographed copy for Christmas. Being from Tennessee I really enjoyed being familiar with all the places he referred to. I enjoyed the writer's sense of humor. It was an interesting and enjoyable read.

It was awesome to see information on places I had visited. The way the writer describes places needs a little work. It did not flow every well and needs some better formatting. However, it was a great informational gathering book. Great to begin research with.
