It was my bad to pick the wrong edition of this book. I'd rather choose the edition of a single book Developing the leader within you but I accidentally picked the edition of 2 books in 1 volume, which also comprises of Developing the leaders around you. So, it took me twofold time to complete.

Luckily, the book is so exciting, provides plenty of substance for thought. The first part is about establishing the internal leadership while the second is about to inspire and raise up people around. The second part also overlaps with the book Growing Great Employee in many areas, yet it possesses some unique traits, especially the benefits and joys of building up other leaders, the characters of a dream team, how to recognize potential leaders.

The first book clears up myths around leadership and teaches what a leader really does and how to do it. It finishes with talking about how the best leaders help other people lead.

The second book is all about enabling your leaders to lead other people.

I like the way he writes and incorporates the idea of leadership into his writing with simple explanation. He has provided insightful perspective in regards of leadership and it's very enjoying to read the book.
