Unique, inspirational and always grateful, Andy Bird's persistently consistent and consistently persistent message of awareness has reached countless humans around the world online. Andy had BIG dreams as a kid and his path to those dreams wasn't easy - he lived in over twenty homes, attended several different schools, was homeless at age fourteen, had an alcoholic father and was raised by his single, deaf mother - yet despite all the odds, he achieved even wilder dreams than he could have imagined.
Let this book teach you tools at problems differently...and much, much more!
I follow Dreadful Bird on TikTok and love his daily reminders, so I had to read this when I heard about it. The messages and lessons here are impactful are powerful even if the premises can be simple in theory, but mostly I feel like this could have been more fleshed out. The background stories of what Andy went through in the beginning of his life are heavy and traumatic but we get a couple paragraphs and then bam: my father died, my son was born, and my dream was accomplished within months. End of sentence. He goes on further to give us some snippets of what happened at these life events, but it didn’t read (to me) like a suspenseful “but how? Let me show you!” More like a ball out of left field, scattered feeling. All this to say, I love his videos, I like this book.
I follow him on tiktok and have purchased his gratitude journal and a couple other items and he’s truly inspiring. Will definitely reread this books again and again. Just for Now <3
