First and foremost, I am not an expert on any of the topics discussed in this book. I'm an average everyday person like most. Second, this isn't a book about martial arts. Sorry if it comes as a surprise given the title, and a surprise because, yes, that is what I do for a living. So, you're probably thinking "what is this book about?" Well, I will completely admit, I've made a lot of mistakes and screwed up a lot of things. But I think one thing that I've been fortunate with is that I'm pretty good about learning from those mistakes. So, I guess that's kind of the point of this book; from an average guy's point of view. In this book, I'll be telling stories that inspire others to strive harder and achieve more. So, relax and get ready to have a one-on-one conversation with me. Yes, this is a conversation between two people rather than a book. This is not me telling you how to live your life as you read these pages. Rather, as you hear about my life, you can be reflective and have ideas about your own.
I'm blown away by the amount of information Robert Nichols managed to put into this book. It's really invaluable in the Business World these days. Not everything is going to work and it's very difficult to wade through the ample information on the internet.
The way it is written is extremely easy to follow and gives you a step by step process.
It's really just a very informative read and so very helpful! Pick it up ASAP!
This was a great read. I loved that Robert Nichols brings personality to his writing. It was not a dull read, it was entertaining even though what he was discussing wasn’t an entertaining subject.
Solid writing and a well-thought-out plan for the outline that really allowed for a smooth and easy read.
Let me just say that I was ressed by how much the author managed to pack into this book. I found that it has great tips and tricks and is well written. I liked the layout, the author makes it easy to follow.
🍂You must be wondering about what this book is about by reading the book name. Some of you must be thinking that this book is about martial arts but let me tell you that this book is a kind of self-help book jotted down by this amazing person Robert Nicholas. I wasn't expecting that this book will come up like this on this kind of topic.
🍂This book will be a perfect partner with a cup of cappuccino on a monsoon day. We all are human beings hustling in our day-to-day life and we do need rest, rest without guilt and meanwhile so much going on in your mind your body will oppose it then if you want to make your rest productive you must go for this book. This will be an exact companion for your heavy feeling.
🍂This is not like any other book in which you read about certain things and all it is like you're having a one-on-one conversation with the author. The author is telling you stories from a person's point of view who has learned a lot from their mistakes and is now penning down all his experience in this book and motivating readers to try harder and succeed.
🍂If you’re human, you’ll make mistakes so you might as well embrace them by learning from them. We should not waste our energy trying to hide or cover up our missteps. Instead, we should learn from our mistakes and keep trying and that's what the author has penned down in this book in the most proper, organized and scheduled way.
🍂While the book in essence has been written for a broad audience, its best audience is one in which the members want to alter their energy with a positive approach towards life. And for that It doesn’t matter who you are, it doesn’t matter where you are in life, if you want to improve you just have to "Make the decision, create the mindset, and put in the effort".
🍂I can smell the positive mindset of the author through his writings. The language and narration in this book are easy-going and comprehensible. I don't have sufficient words to define the magnificence and depth of the book. But I'm sure this book will have a tremendous consequence on your mind. It is without a question an excellent work and superbly jotted down by the author and made it a masterpiece.
First, the linked author is not the correct Robert Nichols. This is his first book.
This isn't the last motivational book you'll ever buy, but it probably should be the next one.
In today's age of social media, it is too easy to fall into the trap of success. People post their victories and we don't see the hard work that it took to earn them, or the times when they stumble and fail.
This book is the antithesis of that fallacy.
Success takes hard work. It means asking the hard questions. It's a journey, not a destination.
The author intersperses personal stories with his own self reflections, and challenges the reader to do the same. To discover what is important to them and why, channeling Socrates' statement that "The unexamined life is not worth living."
There are only a few real "tricks" to success that the book outlines, such as organizing with lists and schedules. The rest of the book details what worked/works for the author. There's no system being sold here, just that hard work and focus pays off. But there's an earnest simplicity and honesty that should resonate with every reader. We all have the opportunities to prioritize what we want and to work towards those goals.
In full disclosure, I've known the author for years and have heard most of these stories multiple times. But Nichols continues to prove Picasso right: "The meaning of life is to find your gift. The purpose of life is to give it away." Robert Nichols is a leader, a teacher, and an inspiration to many. It might not be "giving it away", but this book is a way for his influence to spread even farther, and we are all better off because of it.
