If the rest of the couples in the Kings Gym series are as amazing as Niall & Everly, I will be so happy! The way he called her Ever was adorable, and their relationship started out a little crazy but quickly blossomed into something beautiful. I hope we get to see more of Ethan in future books, but I’m so excited to see how things with the guys from the gym play out.
The HEA was so cute, the story is completely safe, and we get to see them and Ethan thriving years later. It’s going to be so hard to wait for the next books. This was a very quick and awesome read that I’d recommend to all Shaw Hart and romance lovers.

Ahh, another series to dive into! Fighting Fire with Fire was great, I absolutely loved the relationship between Everly and Niall! He spots her one night trying to sell her virginity to get money to help her baby brother. Niall steps up to the plate and takes care of them. Loved it!

This was such a sweet and romantic story, but had spice in it too🔥🔥. Niall is a fighter that wants to go pro. He met Everly by chance months prior at a diner. He instantly fell for her but stays away for different reasons😊😊 An underground fight and an auction and everything changes.😍😍😍.Instalove, sweet, stey, safe and romantic ,with a bit OP( her mother) drama and with a sweet HEA❤️❤️❤️ I loved how sweet and caring Niall was and how he loved Ethan like his own🥰🥰🥰🥰 This story captivated me from the first second👍👍

I thought that this was a fantastic book. I am so glad that we got Niall's book (from Eye Candy Inc. 2nd Gen). Niall and Everly are super sweet yet intimate. I really enjoyed the connection and the chemistry between these two. There is a little bit of drama but it pushes Niall and Everly closer together. I really enjoyed this book and I can't wait for the rest of the series. I would recommend this book and Ms. Shaw as a must read author.

Fighting Fire With Fire is the first book in the new Kings Gym series and this one is going to be a lot of fun to read. This first story sets up the world of Kings Gym and some of the characters, along with centering on the romance between Niall Mason and Everly Griggs. This story is adjacent to the Eye Candy Ink: Second Generation series. Niall is a boxer who moved from Rosewood, Colorado to Pittsburgh when his younger sister and her now fiance, their story is in Gray (Eye Candy Ink: Second Generation), turned eighteen and they were all able to leave. Niall is close to becoming a pro fighter, with his next fight in two weeks being the decider if he wins. In the mean time he works as a bouncer at Se7en and trains at the gym. Everly is twenty-three years old and is a waitress at Monroe's Diner. She was born and raised in Pittsburgh by a single mother who was more than a little rough. She also has an eight year old half-brother named Ethan who she is now looking after full-time, ever since their mother took off months ago and left Ethan alone. Luckily Ethan knew where to go and now he is living with Everly. As it turns out things are expensive and Everly needs to make more money. After doing some brain storming on how to do that with her best friend it leads her to doing something that will make Niall finally step up about his attraction to her. What happens next is a whirlwind over a couple of weeks with all sorts of drama, some romance, family, friends, and smoking hot sexy fun.
This was an entertaining start to the new series. I like the way there are characters from other series lightly intertwined with the new set of characters in this series. The story-line kept my attention, even if there were a couple detail inconsistencies that had me flipping back to make sure I remembered correctly. The thing that I did not really feel though was the connection between Everly and Niall. It was there but not to the intensity that I think it was supposed to be. But otherwise this book was a treat to read and I am looking forward to reading the next in the series and others adjacent to it.

WOW!! I couldn't put this one down. I absolutely love it!! This was a nice quick, short read.
Niall met Everly one day when he went into Monroe's Diner and she was his waitress. Now he takes his sister out to eat every week just so he can see Everly. Niall is at an underground fight trying to leave when he spots Everly. She's in a tiny robe, on the other side of the room. He walks into the room when he hears the announcer yells to let the bidding begin. When she steps up on the plywood she hears someone yell no to her left when she looks over she sees Niall. The only reason Everly is bidding her virginity away is she needs the money, she's taking care of her brother and money is tight. As the men start bidding, Niall bids two thousand and the announcer yells sold. Niall digs in his bag and hands her a sweatshirt, he tells her no one should see her like this. After Niall pays he sweeps her up and carries her in his arms to his SUV. They go back to his apartment and he tells her she can help herself to anything. She asks him when they are going to do it and he tells her they're not, she should have never been there. She asks him if he doesn't want her, he tells her of course he does. She asks him why not and he tells her he's wanted her since the first day. Niall tells her she deserves more, he doesn't have time right now. She asks him if he thinks she should be the one who decides that. He asks her if she wants him, she tells him yes she want him. They kiss each other like they are starved. Everly's phone rings and she tells him she has to check it. It's her best friend Sylvie who is watching her brother Ethan. The next day at work Sylvie comes in to talk to Everly about Niall, she explains why he was there and why he bought her. Everly gets a phone call but she doesn't hear anyone on the other end. Niall goes to King's Gym the next day he's getting ready for a fight in two weeks. Friday night comes and Everly can't wait for Niall to come in, Nora his sister arrives first. When he arrives he kisses her in front of his sister, then Everly goes and grabs them their order. He asks her if she can't take a break she tells him in a few minutes. Everly grabs a slice of pie for her and Niall and they talk about her brother Ethan and how her mom left them. Everly asks about his parents, he tells her how abusive his father was and his mom passed when his sister was born. She has to get back to work as she notices more customers coming in to the diner. A week later Niall hasn't seen Everly, they both have busy schedules, his coach tells him he's looking soft. Leaving the gym he gets a text from Everly that she has a sitter for her brother so they can go out. She comes out the front door when he pulls up, he hands her the flowers he picked up for her. Niall takes Everly back to his apartment, he leads her to the rooftop, he has it set up for a romantic dinner. He grabs their dinner from his apartment, he tells her he needs to eat healthy for his fight coming up. After they are done eating she tells him she loves it up there but there's someplace else she wants to see, his bedroom. He leads the way and she tells him she likes his apartment. He tells her they don't have to do anything he's not going anywhere. She tells him she wants to she's wanted him for a while. They kiss as they strip each other of their clothes. He pleasures her, then he sinks inside of her, then they both come. He asks her if she can stay the night, she tells him she just has to be back to take Ethan to school. A few nights later Everly calls Niall, she is panicked she asks him to come over, when he arrives he finds a man and woman standing outside her door. Niall asks if he can help them, when they turn he realizes its Everly and Ethan's mom. He tells them to leave Everly and Ethan alone, they tell him they want a cut of the money she got. He tells them to leave that Ethan isn't her son, her mother tells him this isn't the end. Once they leave he knocks not he door telling them it's just him. He introduces himself to Ethan, then tells them to pack something to stay with him. When they arrive at Niall's apartment he realizes his spare bedroom is full of boxes, so he suggest a pillow fort for them all to sleep on. As they all lay down, Niall assures her they'll find an attorney for her. Ethan wants to hear about Niall's matches in the ring, as he tells them some stories they both fall fast asleep. The next day when Everly is at work her mom comes to the diner, she tells them to leave. Her mom tells her she wants some of her money but Everly tells her she doesn't have any she spent it. Her mom tells her to go back underground and sell herself again. Everly tells her mom to leave or she's calling the police. Some customers come in so her mom and the man she's with leaves. Her friend Sylvie comes in and she notices Everly is pale and asks her if she alright. After she takes care of the customers, she tells her friend that her mom was just there. Niall text her telling her to come to his place with Ethan he has a surprise. When they arrive Niall tells Ethan to look in the spare bedroom. Niall went shopping and got Ethan a new bed, dress, desk and chair. Niall takes Everly to his room where he cleared out some closet space for her, made room in his dresser and has made counter space. He asks her to move in with him because her mom knows where they live, and it's safer for her to be with him. Everly tells him okay than Ethan comes and asks if they can get something to eat. The night of the big fight, Niall has Everly and Ethan in the audience right next to the stage. Kit, Finn, and Jameson come to cheer him on. After the match is over, Niall hold his hand out so that Everly and Ethan can join him in the ring. He tells her he loves her and she tells him she loves him too. He pulls her close to his side with the boxing agents come his way. After everyone has left and he is showering off, Everly waits for him. He comes out in a towel and he thanks her for being with him. As he kisses her she asks him if they can do it there, when he drops his towel Everly goes to her knees and pleasures him. He reaches for her pulling her up, she jumps into his arms and he holds her to the wall, he sinks into her. Niall is a Fighter, He is sweet, smart, kind, caring, badass and knows what he wants, He has a sister called Nora who he looks out for, He is not close to his family and he Cared for his sister while she was growing up because their family did not care about them, He has always liked his friend Everly so one night he sees her at an Auction and that's when everything changes for him because he goes and saves her and tells her that he likes her a lot, So he shows her that he wants to win her heart, He falls for Everly

*spoilers* Niall, is afighter, having a big fight in front of him which he has to win to go pro. His sister is Nora, (whose story with Gray also is amazing). He saw Everly working in a dinner and has fallen for hwe but does not more than eat there every Friday with his sister, because he has no time. He also fights in the underground to earn enough money to be able to pay for everything. When somebody would find out his career would be over. That is where he sees Everly. She is about to auction off her virginity. She has a little brother Ethan, 13 years younger who she supports and is desperate for money. Niall wins her, alsos he does not like her to be treated like property and takes her home. He tells her he wants her but not like that. Niall being busy with trianing and so on and Everly being the guardian for her little brother and always putting him first, will they be able to open up their hearts for love? And then her mother tries to take Ethan away...
I found it so sweet that Niall always calles Everly my Ever when thinking of her and how he enjoyed her curves. How they fight for their love and are both such strong people taking the risk. I can not wit for the other stories, also the epilogues gave a hint.

This is the 1st book in the Kings Gym series and it features Niall and Everly's story. Niall is always taking care of the ones he loves he always has. When we met this sexy protective alpha in Grey's story Eye Candy Ink we couldn't help being drawn to him and wanting to see him get his HEA. The thing is it has to be at the right time he knew from the moment that he saw Everly that she was the woman for him but the timing isn't right with all of his training. Everly is taking care of her younger brother and she's struggling to make ends meet so she makes a crazy decision. Even though she's in love with Niall she needs money for her brother so she auctions herself off. Unbeknownst to her Niall is in the area fighting in an illegal fight and he walks in on the auction. He's not letting anyone win his woman so he bids to win and takes her home. They have an honest conversation about things and all he wants is for Everly to be happy. Niall was really great with her brother too. You really need to read this wonderful story to see what happens. I would definitely recommend reading this book and I'm looking forward to the next book in this series.

Niall & Everly know each other from the diner Everly works in that Niall and his sister frequent every Friday for lunch. Niall is an up and coming fighter and needs to keep his head clear for an upcoming fight that will be his break into professional fighting so even though he has feelings for Everly he hasn’t asked her out. Everly is raising her little brother and needs extra money that her job at the diner doesn’t provide so she decides to sell her virginity at an underground auction. Niall happens to be leaving an underground fight when he spies Everly in the a tiny robe getting called up on stage at the auction and he takes matters into his own hands because no one except him should see her like that! He decides it’s time to let her know how he feels and they start out hot and heavy and even though there are a few unexpected wrenches in their plans, they get their HEA. This story is heartwarming and steamy and you will love these characters! I highly recommend this book/series to everyone.

I really liked this story. It was entertaining and enjoyable even though it touched on child abandonment and abuse. The characters were easy to relate to and likable for the most part. Everly and Ethan’s mom was a real piece of work. She had some major issues. Niall was the perfect person to help her understand that she no longer had a place in their lives with the way she was living. Everly was sweet, kind, and caring but determined to do whatever she could to make sure that Ethan had a good life. She was willing to make sacrifices if needed to ensure that he didn’t feel neglected. Niall was protective, possessive, and amazing. He was all-in but felt that he didn’t have enough time for Everly so he tried to wait before starting a relationship with her. Everything changed in an instant and neither of them could believe how great that change would be. I loved their happy ever after. I recommend reading this book.

This is book number 1 of the Kings Gym series and focuses on Niall and Everly. Niall is Nora's older brother (Gray: Eye Candy Ink Second Generation) and is a boxer in training at Kings Gym. Everly is the woman he's been completely in love with for a while but hasn't made a move on because of his hectic schedule. She had taken over guardianship of her younger brother and was struggling to make ends meet so she decides to auction herself off to stay afloat. Little does she know that Niall is in the area fighting an illegal fight and walks in on the auction. He refuses to allow someone else to win his woman so he bids and wins. I love how much Niall loves Everly and just wants her to be happy. They have some bumps in the road but they get their HEA. Great addition to the series!

I received an ARC from the author and am voluntarily leaving my review. This book was a great way to start the Kings Gym series. Niall and Everly have a strong attraction between them. Neither of them acts on it for different reasons. Niall has been training for his fighting career. So women are off the table. Everly is scrambling to do the best while raising her brother. Things come to a head when he finds her at an auction. She has decided to sell herself to take care of money issues. Niall is not having it and he steps up and saves her. I enjoyed these characters. The gym and fighters are detailed and set the series up well. I liked both of the characters but wished there was more to their love story. I am looking forward to this series

Fighting Fire with Fire is a fast-moving romance that warms your heart. Niall is boxer working to go pro. Everly is a waitress that is struggling to keep her head above water after taking guardianship of her brother. When Niall see Everly at the underground fights where other things go on, he knows he needs to do what he can to get her out, even if it is going to cost him.
Niall and Everly have an electric chemistry, with big hearts that they will do whatever they need to for those they love. I love Niall's protective side as he will drop what he is doing for Everly, his strength and courage rubs off on Everly as she is forced to confront her mother.
This is a good story with a bit of drama, lots of love and passion that will have you lost as you flip each page.

This was a great start to the Kings Gym series. I really loved that it was a standalone story but it had clear connections to the Eye Candy Ink: Second Generation series and it also introduced characters that will be featured in this series.
Niall was a real alpha and I loved him from the beginning. Everly was a great heroine, the way she was willing to sacrifice herself for her brother’s welfare really touched my heart. The chemistry between the two was phenomenal and I really enjoyed the steam they generated.
The storyline was entertaining and it did have a little twist that I didn’t see coming. I really loved this story and I can’t wait to read the rest of this series.

First things first; I like the cover of this book!
Fighting fire with fire is the first book in the ‘’kings gym’’ series.
This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline enjoyable. Niall is a fighter that is about to get a deal/sponsorship. He was no time for a relationship. He has wanted Everly for a while but will he make a move?
The chemistry between Niall and Everly is clear to see and I liked them together.
I liked the ending and the epilogue for this story.

I could not put this book down until it was over, but had me craving more and wishing it didnt have to end. I absolutely love every page if this book and the characters.
Everly is taking care of her brother and is struggling with earning money to survive. She makes a desperate decision but thank god Niall was there to save her.

Niles has been in love with Everly for quite some ri.e now but not wanting to do anything about it as he is training for a fight and has no time for distractions that all changes when he finishes an underground fight and sees her selling herself off in another roo. To get cash for her and her brother. He buys her and then tells her he wants her but not like that. He reacued her from herself. They start seeing each other and what transpires is a wonderful story. This was much sweeter than I expected! The blurb made it seem quite dark and dramatic but once I started reading, it became clear that although these two have been through a lot and had a tough life - their love brought brightness into both their lives. Some family drama on Everly's side but overall, this was such a great week with a sugary sweet HEA.

I love his alpha swoon worthy personality which comes in handle to get their HEA. A great start to a new series and I can’t wait for more.

I loved reading this story. It had the drama, deadbeat parents, no money and struggling to keep their heads above water. But, in that desperate hour, he became her knight in shining armor. Not once, he also stood up for her with her unworthy parental unit. Their love was there, brewing under the surface, and when it was time, it turned into a for Ever kind of love with a happily for Ever too!

Niall is a boxer and Everly is a waitress. I loved the way the author brought them together. Both of them are just trying to survive and end up in sticky situations but together they find a way to get their happily ever afters. The storyline is great, the characters are believable and the ending is great. Fighting Fire With Fire is book one in the Kings Gym series and I look forward to reading the next book. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.

I enjoyed it. I really felt for Everly and Ethan. And that Niall (the quintessential good guy) was there for them. Lots of sweetness, cuteness, low angst but still conflict with someone ugly and terrible from the past. They got through it and it was great. Just one part bugged me about one scene (it’s about food and dogs - nothing graphic but you just don’t feed them something they shouldn’t eat). I’ll leave it at that!
