A time capsule from 1920 may hold some clues, but when Norhaven’s most powerful conspire to destroy its contents, it’s up to Darius, Sanaa, and their friends (including “Reservation Dogs” star Devery Jacobs) to investigate what really happened. After a strange incident sends them back 100 years to the scene of the crime, their fact-finding mission becomes life-or-death. Forced to confront their town’s prejudiced past, the teens race against time in order save an innocent man’s life and clear his name. “Sundown” is a sci-fi mystery adventure like you’ve never heard before.

I don't really have strong feelings on this either way. It's very YA\Multicultural\Multiracial. The premise is great - that of being able to travel through time to right previous wrongs. The meta podcast within a podcast format was neat. Enjoyed the full cast recording, including some great background\atmosphere. Nothing earth shattering or exciting for me. Including the mystery murderer and twist ending. Good for a quick YA listen.

Good little mystery!! I think adult listeners will find it a little predictable, but I thought it was a great story. A good way to mix commentary on racism with a tale of time travel. I don't think we ever learned about sundown ordinances growing up where I did (Southern US), so this was really eye-opening! Sanaa's voice actor drove me CRAZY though with how slowly she spoke!! Everyone else was pretty good!
