Ken and Bay are rich young men who like to party, make love together, and party some more. They also happen to be twins. Estranged from their father since their mother died when they were small children, they've learned to rely only on each other and not depend on anyone else.

When their father hires a pair of bodyguards, Rick and Simon, to watch their every move, they think it's just a bid on his part to keep them under his thumb, and Ken and Bay do their best to get rid of their babysitters. Rick and Simon aren't thrilled with the assignment, either. Their break-up went badly, and they have one last job to do before they can get rid of the company they run together.
Then an all too real explosion rocks the mansion, and their bodyguards split the twins up, running in a different direction to keep them safe. Will Ken and Bay survive the threat that hangs over them? Will they survive being apart for the first time in their lives? And will Simon and Rick learn to deal with the twins, and with each other, before the threat is over?

Sunshine and light breezes, the scent of sea-drenched skin, dewed-grass under foot. Cowboy hats, tuxedos, painted on jeans. Blue eyes, grey eyes, green eyes, crinkled at the edges eyes. Snow, rain, wind. Love in the morning. Love in the afternoon. Love in the evening. The sole of a man's foot, a working man's hands, a strong back, the curve of an ass.

I'm not into twincest for one and only reason: all books I've got to read are not about the twin brothers themselves but about a third guy thrown in between, threesomes are not my cup of tea. This book, on the other hand, I really enjoyed it. It is about these twin brothers, and also about their 2 bodyguards. At least there are 2 different pairs, even if they all get together at some point, it has an interesting and well developed plot. The kids are rich and are together. The bodyguards used to be lovers but they can't stand each other now. Their story is painful, but they love each other and need to rediscover it. The twins help them to get together again and it becomes sweet and fun. The sex between them is hot (twins in love and bodyguards in love). All in all I enjoyed this book very much. Great characters and great story. I enjoyed it so very much that I decided to get an account here and give it a well deserved rating of five stars.

"Because we're from the same egg. We're still half a soul together."

Rich boys Ken and Bay are twins who like to be left alone together. But then, their father hires two hot and sexy security guys, Rick and Simon to guard them for they were told that their lives are in danger. Ken believes it's only a ploy so their father can control their lives. Now, it's only a question whether the twins want them gone or want them in bed. Then, danger seems to come everywhere and there's only the two bodyguards to keep them alive.

Oh plot, where art thou?
I swear to God, I don't even know what this book is all about. A third of this book is all about sex, sex, sex. Two-way sex. Three-way sex. Four-way sex. The rest is drama. Drama, drama, drama and an annoying Ken that I would have already strangled to death by 30% of this book.

I couldn't even tell if their lives were really in danger while reading this book because of all the sex happening almost every fucking chapter. And oh boy- you thought I would have enjoyed it because there's incest in this book...but it didn't even tingle my inner twisted monster that craves incestuous stories!

All I did was roll my eyes over a lot of times over this book. Specially when Ken's involve. He's just such an annoying piece of horny ass who got dicks for brains. Literally. He only thinks about fucking everybody every moment available. I expected his dick to fall off by the end of the book.

Rick and Simon were acting like teenagers full of angst, it's fucking ridiculous. You would think it's sad that their relationship went downhill but their actions were just ridiculous.

I tried connecting with the characters but I just couldn't. At least I like Rick okay. I like his character and his "alpha" persona in the relationship. I liked him together with Bay too. Minus all the useless dramas and unnecessary sex, I might have liked them all together. But then, that would only leave us with the security details which is almost non-existent in this book. Meh :/

This book was giving me headache. It was exasperating and it was only amusing in the start. The writing didn't appeal much to me either. When the author got tired of writing all the repetitive sex, he decided it was time to end the book so he threw in a couple of pages of escape scene from playhouse 1 so they could go to playhouse 2 and fuck all they want. The end.

So yeah, another disappointment. Can't really find a good incest book these days huh?

I started this story with a mood for some light hot forbidden love......and honestly, i had little expectations from the start... i wasn't so sure at first about the other two beside the twins i wanted the focus to be just on the twins and didn't know how the four of them are gonna work out!

But man did it work out!
It was more than i expected ,wasn't just some sex scenes,There was a STORY! It was plotted amazingly and made perfect sense, no awkwardness at all.....i got my twins time, the body guard's time and the-four-of-them time......it was HOOOoOoOot!

Here are the twins....

the smart-ass,24/7 horny-i-like it rough ,bratty snarky twin is ken/Kenny....he was like a one-track minded starved sex bunny....a cat in a heat all the time!!
And the cheeky, sooooo sweet and cute as a kitten, who like to be touched and patted all the time twin is Bay....he was so lovely and considerate, the softie of the four...you can't help but fall in love with him!

Here are the tough hot alpha male body guards...
The hot tall dark possessive tough and also surprisingly-gentle Rick....

The Angry bad boy hot-as-hell,don't-take-shit-from anyone Simon

I loved simon and Rick together....ugh! The sexual tension when they didn't stand each other was killing, they were searing hot together!
And Unexpectedly,i loved the characters and felt connected with them....the vulnerability of poor Bay really got me in the gut. The twins were so neglected ,didn't have any emotional connection away from each other (poor rich boys) it was a little sad and maybe that's why they worked perfectly with the net safe they felt with simon and Rick(not at first though)!!

This was my first M/M/M/M and getting the dynamics was a little awkward but funny and i enjoyed it!

So,all in all it was a funny smut story with some lovey-dovey feelings ,a lot of smiles and a little hint of melancholy!
And that's exactly what a girl needs sometimes, nothing complicated!! :D

3,5 funny loving stars!

This was hot. Although it needed better editing, I really enjoyed this Twincest/mmmm love going on between all of them. I actually wished it was longer as i really liked all the MC’s. All of them were great with each other and paired, I didn’t feel an MC left out at all and that made this even better as Im not someone who reads a lot of menage because that’s how I usually feel when I read one unfortunately. This was so smutty I loved it. Solid 4 star for me.

Well that was kind of awesome. Twincest+2. The lower ratings worried me and I could see why some people would be turned off by the abundance of sex scenes, but I loved the twins - Bay(sil) and Ken(drick) - and loved the bodyguards - Rick and Simon.

The story: The twins' father pisses off a Columbian drug lord and now their lives are in danger. Their absentee father hires two bodyguards to protect them, which is problematic because the boys are lovers and cherish their privacy. Thinking they can stun the guards into leaving, the twins refuse to hide the fact that they're lovers but Ken's bratty stunts (non-sexual) backfire and it becomes a case of behaving or having a full team of bodyguards vs two. Ken is a true nymphomaniac and makes no secret of the fact that he finds Simon sexy. The bodyguards (ex lovers) resist the best they can, but when the house is attacked, the four of them must split up, one twin per guard and over the time that they're apart, each twin finds comfort in his guard, at times in an attempt to deal with being separated from his other half.

Right! Bay (the name was kind of driving me crazy) was sweet and kind, while Ken was a total brat but I couldn't dislike him. Simon was the perfect match for him, while Rick was just what Bay needed. I felt that the way the guards started having sex with them in the beginning was unethical but, once we got past that, it was plain awesomeness. The author is masterful with such a complex storyline, you have the twins' relationship, the bodyguards, each twin and bodyguard, crossover twin/bodyguard, sporadic threesomes and then foursomes and it was all really, really well done. There was minimal confusion and/or head jumping. I'm still kind of amazed at that. The sex was hot, the guys knew their twins and how to handle them, and even though Rick didn't like Ken too much in the beginning I like that everything came together nicely. Most importantly, I liked that each person felt like an intrinsic part of the foursome and they all loved each other and worked well together, while still maintaining very strong core relationships - the twins had their bond, the guards had their love, and each guard had his twin that he was closer to. It just gave me the warm fuzzies.

Things that bothered me in other 'on the run from the bad guys' books didn't bother me here - like being holed up and seeming to be on a mini vacation, shopping, cooking etc. I think that was mainly because they were in such a secluded area and the father had a scenario in place that people wouldn't look for them right away. I also LOVED that Rick stuck to his guns on a particular issue (don't want to spoil).

All in all, I got everything I wanted out of this book. Every situation that I wanted to see dealt with, was. I don't know if I would have been one of those with the lower ratings if I'd read this while in a different mood (like I said I do understand them) but I'm glad I wasn't. Loved it! 4.5 stars

The blurb for this book over-advertises it.
There is very little in it about the relationship between the twins and their father, and really not much either about their separation.
What there is is LOTS and LOTS and LOTS and LOTS ok I think you probably get the idea - of sex. 2some, 3some and 4some. It is a wonder their parts didn't get worn out.
I expected more from this author. 1 star for the story and one more for the sex. :-)

Don't ask me why but something about this book struck me and I really liked the characters. Yes, there was too much horizontal mambo going on but the vulnerability of poor Bay really got me in the gut. Ken was a bit (OK, a LOT) over the top and really had a one tracked mind but they were both (the twins) so neglected (poor little rich boys) that they were emotionally and developmentally stunted. The way they leeched onto Simon and Rick was kind of sad and pathetic. If they had had any human, emotional interaction in their lives they wouldn't have, obviously, been so ruined.

I wonder what happens to them after the book finishes...

Ok, so I have to admit that this book maybe isn't top quality work -- plus it has a LOT of sex in it, which typically isn't my thing. But what can I say? I was in the right mood when I read it, and I have a total kink for twincest. I know it's wrong, blah blah, but whatever. I got a kick out of this novel and really liked reading it, so I gave it 4 stars for pure personal enjoyment.

Bratty twins and the security guards hired to keep them safe. What a great ride. Loved the contrast natures and personalities and how it all worked and came together. Then you get to watch them slowly change each other, become ingrained in each other. Let's not forget, lots and lots of H.O.T. sex! *swoon*

~2.5 stars; abandoned ship ~77%
I'll admit that I was curious how this book would turn out. Ah well. So there were lots of... heat. And I know they're young but I really didn't enjoy all that ranting and being immature, you see...Then, after I saw the big men made up I decided to abandon ship. And the orgy was confusing!

It was an okay story...lots of smut...but it felt like the plot wasn't really addressed as well as it could have been. It was more...oh look, lets find a way to change locations so we can have nookie in a different place and a different pairing. And the ending left a lot to be desired...

2.5*
SPOILERS!!!

The twincest was okay but not great, felt more of an emotional connection from Bay to Ken than the other way around.
I loved Ken & Simon, they were hot,
I liked Bay & Rick, they were sweet....Rick seemed to understand Bay better than anyone.
I also liked Rick & Simon, didn't think I would but I did, then after they talked things out it all just became sex after sex after sex.
*this I knew would happen eventually but it still felt off.....the foursome.
Bay & Simon didn't work for me, the first time together is when they all fall asleep in the same bed & next thing you know they're making out.
*sigh* and then we had Ken & Rick, looking at how Rick felt & talked about Ken, I didn't even feel like they liked each other. That part felt like it happened just because thats how the book is supposed to go.
Plus I really wasn't a fun of the dialogue/writing, except the sex scenes (that worked). So 1 star for those parts I liked & 1.5 stars for Ken & Simon.
So basically, if Ken & Simon, Rick & Bay became couples who sometimes had sex together (foursome) it could've been a 4 star read for me.

How about some twincest to rock your world, and lets throw in some hot body guards that have a relationship that is on the rocks. Nothing like a bit of sex with twins to rekindle that bromance! Super hot read, and a bit of action to keep the pages flipping. Great storyline and love the character development. First time reading Mike Shade but surely not my last.

I really liked this book - it was fun seeing the dynamics of the twins, the estranged security guys, and then all the different combinations, and how they all helped meet different needs in each other. Even though there was some action, the overall feeling was sweet and sexy.

First, no security personnel would ever behave like that if they were true professionals.

Second, there were so many padding chapters. The sex was hot, but over half the book did nothing to advance the story whatsoever.

I was wavering between 2-3 stars. At least this book at an ending. I literally just bought and read this book this afternoon. So, it was a quick read. I had read a few reviews and despite it involved threesome even foursome, decided to give it a go. Also twinsect, so if you aren't into any of that, this isn't the book for you.

This story is about two twins, who are in a relationship also, who's dad is a big shot who doesn't pay them any mind. Their dad hires two bodyguards(who are ex-lovers) to watch them 24/7. Though they start off on a bumpy road, they all come together and learn to live together. As they are learning all about themselves, their is still the threat on the twin's lives hanging over them. How far will they bodyguards(Simon and Rick) go to protect them? And what will happen if and when the threat is no longer there? Also will the bodyguards be able to rekindle their relationship?

I loved this...We have twins Kenny and Bay who yes sleep together...In fact Bay can't be away from Kenny for too long...He doesn't do well....They are assigned bodyguards due to their fathers dealings.....Rick and Simon were lovers and don't want to work together anymore but we all know they are going to get it together again....When they have to split up...Rick taking one twin and Simon the other this is when the sex really hots up...they eventually meet up again and it just gets hotter and hotter.....even with Bays illness the boys just meld together...This really could have gone on longer with the threat to the boys more played out but still it was a really hot read x

At the beginning of this book I wondered if I was ever going to like twins Ken and Bay. They were spoiled brats who whined and complained constantly...well, when they weren't having sex that is. But, the twins really grew on me. They became more serious when they realized that Rick and Simon, the bodyguards, were actually there to protect them, not just to babysit them. I liked Rick and Simon. They had a history and had to overcome their own issues. So, good book with a lot of sex. Do NOT read if twincest bothers you!

Due to the blurb there was supposed to be a set of twins and their security fighting to survive...separately and then together

What I got?

-A short time of separation, which was over in the blink of an eye wihtout any real hardship

-Too much bed sport in all variations (2, 3, 4 some)- it was boring and repetitive

-Twin Ken annoyed the hell out of me- seriously who wants to have a man in bed who behaves like a child???

-AND where the hell was the threat to the twins???

2* because a few parts where ok and I liked the other three characters

This book was kind of weird for me to read. Not the plot (well, the little it was), or the sex, or the twincest and 4-way thing. It was the writingstyle that struck me hard- Had i not known who the author of this book is, i'd have thought i was reading a Sean Michael book. VERY similar writing style, character typology and interraction, atmoshpere. Good, but still weird.

Ah hell, I enjoyed this like crazy.

Menage is hit and miss for me. This was a hit. They worked well together. No one got left out in the cold. Their relationship made sense.

There were a couple of issues...but didn't really take away my enjoyment of the book.

Plus TWINCEST! Almost always a hit for me.

The ending seemed a little simple...but hey, it had to end somewhere.
Fun book.

I'm not usually one to read about twin-cest but Mike Shade makes it hot, hot, hot in this book and mixes it up with a couple bodyguards for a foursome to be envied! The story keeps it from just being about the sex and the relationships that develop between the 4 are intertwined, sexy and entertaining!

Ok....so the editing was piss poor. Kenny went from Kendrick to Kenneth to Kevin...so ya...that's pretty bad. But dam, it was a good read. Put it in the comfort pile. Strong men, vulnerable twins...'nuff said. Simply YUMMY!!

This book is mostly sex scenes with some plot thrown in. You do get to know and like the twins. I also enjoyed the fact they all fell in love with each other - with no sexual jelousy.

SPOILER ALERT - one thing I kept hoping for but never happened was Ken topping Simon (or even Rick).
