You know when a story starts off with the discovery of a new crevasse, that's fun is on the way. I loved so much about this. The characters storylines were so good. I got lost in both John and Allie's stories that I almost lost interest in the swarm, my main interest in reading this ....almost lost interest, but not quite. The creatures are great and awful. My what beasts. I would like to know more about them. I liked the ending as well, perhaps there will be more to this story, and if there is I will read it. I really enjoyed this.
