Dark days and cruel fortune. A bitterness pervading each moment of a savage year. The verse within these pages reflects upon grief and uncertainty and the swell of emotions to which they give rise. Written in the months leading to quarantine, this book collects the poetry first published on the Piecework Prose blog. Draw the shades; embrace the silence; and allow yourself to bear witness to a soul in the midst of crisis.
