Oh my goodness! Even though I chuckled all the way through this book, it never lacked emotion. This is the 3rd book, and even though these guys are all intertwined, I love that their stories are so different. Jade Dollston, you are making me want to believe that love really exists.

Well, this author is quickly becoming one of my favourite authors . Waylon and Bristols' story was such a mix of heartbreak , love, and steam. It was very hot in places. But waylon is like the dream.guy, honestly. I really need Jade to make him real.if.only I could just look at him.
I was hooked on this story, having met Bristol in the previous books. I knew this story would be next in line. I was excited to see where it went .
the story was jam-packed with spicy, smxy scenes, and honest to god,waylon made me blush he is one hot man..Bristols history hurt my heart, and I hoped she would heal all the way through this book and when the twist came. oh god, I was so mad I wanted to re alive a certain character just to unalive him . my heart hurt for both waylon and Bristol. There may have been some tears
but thankfully, I know this authors work well enough to know she would make it all better, and I ended up laughing .(🍉iykyk)
this is a .very spicy , romantic life after death love story that was just soo beautifully written and I thoroughly enjoyed it and I can wait to see who is next to fall in our group of Protectors.

Oh my god!!! Yes please!!! Tank and Bristol ❤️❤️❤️❤️ if you thought Beau and Axel were everything then Tank will knock you out. The right mix of sweet alpha is that a type, (well am deeming it as a type) so Tank being his amazing charming self and giving off cinnamon swooon as well, meets Bristol who is Charli's BFF, and oo boy does the chemistry take off from day one!!! Bristol who is sassy ,funny and is just the type of friend who u need to support you in your girl gang is everything!! Bristol and Tank have such amazing chemistry and heat, that i swear will burn ur kindle! I just love how the story just makes u warm and tingly with all the feels. The way they are with each other and the way their friends support them is just picture perfect. I'm not gonna say more otherwise m gonna give out spoilers!! But don't miss it!!! T❤️B forever!!!

Holy moly of all things hot 🔥!
Yeah that's what Jade's Fierce protectors books does to me haha.
When I read Beau's book I thought no way can anyone be better than him but here we are after meeting Waylon aka Tank I'm a big gooey hot mess. 🥵
This was a Cinnamon Roll MMC, Reluctant FMC and Second Chance Trope.
Let me tell you 1st, Waylon may be a cinnamon roll but damn he has a filthy mouth and super possessive. But at the same time he is such a beautiful, gentle soul.
Bristol is such wonderful human and she was so unfortunate to carry a selfish promise for rest of her life.
Bristol could not love again because of her promise to her dead fiancé.
So she has set 4 rules to help her from doing just that.
But when you meet Waylon, I'm sure a steal wall around your heart can't fight the love this man has to give.
We know from the 1st book Dauntless Protector, they both meet through Charlie and Beau.
From the one night stand things were already different and one night might not be enough in this case.
She has such a hard time between guilt and and wanting to live again. I felt so sad for. Don't get me started on her was to be Mother In Law. Urgh, I will have to leave that for you to find out.
This story was journey about her trying to keep the promise but also fight her love for Waylon. Waylon also struggles as he doesn't know what he is doing wrong. Both are constantly hurting.
Honestly loved their relationship and chemistry and the hilarious conversations they have. Oh Cupcake, Bristol's cat does something so funny 😂.
And as always, it's never just the main characters that make these stories, it's the whole gang. Axel, Beau, Cam, Woody, Bode and Hawk. I love them all, I feel like I'm always there with them joining in with the hilarious banter they all have. But deep down you also see their love for each other, through their actions. These big burly men's have a heart of gold.
Our dear Carrie is still sweet as ever and still is the apple of all her uncles eyes.
You will love Gram, I really wanted to just go in to the book and have ball with her. She is so sweet and so funny, she will have you LOL.
There were plenty of people trying to break them apart too.
There is a big revelation and my heart hurt for Bristol. I had to put my phone down just so I can wrap my head round it. Not all is as it seems.
Psst we get to attend a special function too. I won't give it away but it was perfect.
Then we got the epilogue 🥺. It was the perfect ending to these beautiful people. It was so funny I was crying and also my heart felt so big for them both.
There was so much love, drama, twists and hot hot hot scenes. Spice level 6/5. Yeah that hot.
Now I can't wait to see what roller-coaster ride Cam has.

Devoted Protector is not only well written but you will truly enjoy reading Bristol and Waylon’s story. Not only will you laugh 😂, cry 😭 and get angry 😡 but you will also get swooned by Tank himself.

I swear, Jade’s men just keep getting better and better. I didn’t think anyone would be Ax, but then she wrote Beau and I was convinced he was it for me, but now tank has completely captured my heart! When “get you a man that can do both” becomes real! Did I cry during this book? Yes. Did I yell at my phone like a crazy person? More than once. Was I the edge of my seat with nerves? 100%, But in the end, it was perfection! With the love between Bristol and Tank, to the hilarious moments with the guys, to the jaw dropping twist I didn’t expect. I’m head over heels for this book! Congrats on, once again, an amazing book!

Ugh!!! It was so good Tank is he definition of devoted protector. His and Bristol relationship doesn’t come easy. The easy part for how there chemistry and the spice dear lord it just flows off the pages. This books was laugh out loud funny they banter between these two was hilarious. It is something I love in a partner if you can make me laugh we are golden. And that is what I love about Jade Dollstons characters they are so real and relatable make cry laugh and swoon all in one book so please check it out I can not wait for Cams book!!

The story of Tank & Bris is absolutely everything! I laughed, cried, got mad, laughed and cried some more.....and had a lot of hot flashes...and I mean a lot. Tank is as big and protective as his name sounds but he's also a big soft teddy bear. If you're looking for a Big Boy - Tank is definitely your man! Bris is an amazingly strong but a little broken woman trying to keep promises she shouldn't have too. I definitely recommend this book, and Jade Dollston's first 2 books!

I absolutely loved Waylon & Bristol! I would look up to crazy looks from my family as I smirked & laughed at some of the most hilarious banter in this book. The connection these two had was incredible from from the beginning and only got better.

What an amazing story. Jade Dollston has managed to weave together characters that make sense, despite their traumas and hardships. Bristol was a delight and seeing the strides she made through unresolved grief was special. Tank was a gooey cinnamon roll who didn't 'get it' all of the time, but, by gosh did he try! Loved the side characters, and would love to see a HEA for David!

Devoted Protector gave me all the feels! It takes you on a complete emotional rollercoaster.
Bristol swears she will never love another man after a promise made to her fiancé on his death bed. Along comes Waylon. He and Bristol share an amazing night together and Bristol tries to push him away after but keeps getting pulled back to him.
This book was hilarious on top of emotional. What Bristol has gone through and continues to go through is so hard. The amount of guilt she carries around is such a weight on her she thinks her romantic life is over. Waylon wasn't looking for Bristol or even a new relationship but the draw to Bristol is so strong he just can't quit her and he gets sucked in.
I loved seeing past characters and some new ones too. Grams is a stitch and I absolutely love her! I could not put this one down it pulls you in right from the get go. For that alone ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ and God lord that spice 🥵🥵 🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶

Tank stole my heart from the start. He is the swooniest southern gentleman with a dirty side that makes you melt. Bristol has her demons and Tank is the first man to make her break her own rules…but she needs to heal, get out of her own way so she can be loved and give love with her whole self. This book will make you sweat with the off the charts chemistry and heat. It will make you laugh with witty banter, it will make you cry and break your heart with the journey they go through, and it will stitch you back together as you feel their love.

Holy hotness! I have read all of Jade’s books and they never disappoint. Tank is a true southern gentlemen that brings all the swoon with a naughty side. Bristol is a spitfire on the outside who battles her own demons on the inside. Their chemistry is off the charts and their steam and heat is…phew! Their journey to let go, heal and love and be loved the way they deserve is both heartbreaking and heart healing. Clear your calendar once you start, because you won’t be able to put it down.

I so enjoyed reading Waylon and Bristol's story!
It has got all the emotions there, from sadness, pure grief to giddiness, happiness, laughter and of course that undeniable pure, true and unconditional love! Mixed with those amazing smexy scenes!
Waylon is just the perfect man and Bristol just completes him... they are the perfect super couple!
The book is perfectly written and has some little surprising twists here and there, which I absolutely loved!
So nice to read about the other characters like Blaire, Beau, Axel and Charli and all the others from previous books.
This author is on my list of my top 5 favourite authors, so don't wait, read this amazing story and fall in love with this handsome perfect man and their lovestory!

Tank is such s gorgeous gentle giant. How I want to have him in my life being so sweet and caring.
Bristol is one fine sassy lady and has had to endure so much so young. I love all the characters and can't wait to see who is next to find true love.
The book is full of spicy, steamy scenes (I couldn't walk properly after reading (think John Wayne walk) *fans herself*

Waylon meets Bristol when she's at the nightclub with Charli and he can not believe how hot she is and they end up sleeping together.
Bristol lost her fiance in an accident 3 years ago and she has some rules set in place, as she made a promise to always love her fiance,when she meets Waylon at the nightclub she can't believe how hot he is and how big and they end up sleeping together.
Waylon and Bristol keep sleeping together and it keeps making Bristol feel guilty about her promise, when Waylon tells her how he feels Bristol says she has no feelings for him and it's just sex, that ends up hurting Waylon.
When things start to come to light about Bristol’s fiance and people trying to come between them,can they work it out,can Bristol find it in herself to let herself love again.

This book is so good. Jade will have you on a emotional roller-coaster. The way this is written it has you feeling like your apart of the story. Bristol character goes through sooo much you cant help to love her.

If you loved Beau and Axel, and thought they were everything Tank will knock you out! I loved how sweet Tank was! The perfect mix of sweet alpha! He is so charming and such a cinnamon roll!
And Bristol! I loved how sassy and fun she is! She the type of friend that you need! The kind that always has your back, supports you, and call you out when you need to be called out.

Back when we were first introduced to Tank I was praying he would get a book because I was obviously obsessed. I knew this was going to be a 5 ⭐️ read and I was not disappointed. You will be begging for your own Tank by the end of this book.

This is the second book in the series and it didn't disappoint! I loved Tank and how loyal he is to his SEAL Brothers. I loved Bristol and her story. I love how they ended up together, and the journey their love story takes. Can't wait for the next book!

Ohhhhh myyyyyyy gaaaaaawd. *profusely fanning myself* Words escape me as to how to start talking about this book... I mean, Jade spoils us. There is so much packed into every single word in her books - there are so many parts to every scene, to every conversation, every scenario...
OK, Tank... oh Tank. Jade has teased us with Tank since not just book 1 in this series, but also in "Delay of Game" which truly is the start of this series IMHO. But in book 1 of this series we got snippets of Tank and Bristol's story - how and where it all began. Jade gave us mere crumbs. Like that was enough! Pshhhh. Jade made us DESPERATE for Tank. Don't even pretend, we were all desperate for this HUGE, kind, sexy, compassionate, walking-talking sex-on-a-stick of a man. ... Now I'm having flashbacks to him in his military dress clothes.... *ohmygawd* ... OK back to the topic at hand, sorry. So yes, Jade teased Tank and we felt like we've gotten to know him a little before this book, likewise, we got to know Bristol a little bit - not as much as Tank - but Jade has us loving these two characters. She also has us LOVING their meet-cute! But in this book, when we get Tank's perspective on their meet-cute, OMG let me swoon! He's a little shy, too? Stop it, Jade - just stop it. Can you make this guy any more desirable? Seriously.
So as teased and as this book kicks off, we know that Tank is a serious relationship guy and he's just the entire package: sweet, sensitive, committed, sexy, hardworking, smart, funny... he's just the entire package. Bristol is also that, and a bag of chips. The girl is fiiiiiine! She is gorgeous, smart, confident, talented, driven, kind, hilarious, and committed. They seem like such a perfect match, however, as teased ahead of this book, we know that Bristol lost her fiancé some years prior to meeting Tank and she is keeping promises that she made to him. Now, this is where we insert our disappointment and impending heartbreak for Tank... *sigh. We just want the sexy HEA for these two - nay, we are desperate for it! So the obstacles are quite frustrating, but at the same time, Jade has made them sweet and compelling. Keep breaking those rules Bristol - please! Break the rules... Jade has made a bit of social commentary on loss and the ways of the human heart in doing so too - and those moments are so gut-wrenching and emotional, yet she writes them in such a way that you feel so connected to Bristol and her emotions... those moments, and to be honest so many others in this book, make you feel that this book isn't fiction at all. The ways of the human heart and how we manage grief and how we survive... it can be both heartbreaking and beautiful at the same time - and Jade makes us acutely aware of that in such a beautiful way. It's hard at times, sure, but knowing that this is a HEA book, in those moments we just have to assure ourselves that Jade will bring us home - that Tank and Bristol will get there.
Speaking of which - always around the 60-70% of the way through books like this is where the big "blowup" or point of contention happens (the part that always stresses me out and gets my cortisol levels up so high), and Jaaaaaaaade!!!! Why do you have to torture us? Why? Did you really have to torture Tank and especially Bristol like this? Why did you have to turn Tank into... well, I can't say what you did to him - you know what you did! You-know-what-you-did-!!!! Even though he thought that giving Bristol what she thought she wanted - she didn't want that!!! Ugh, it was so hard to read when he was acting the way he thought she wanted him to act... that's not OUR Tank! That's not who he is! Yes, I'm getting irate. But I suppose this is the mark of a great writer, right? Making us feel so deeply about a character and the scene in a book - which, by the way, you accomplish in every single one of your books, Jade! Your writing is so on point, and as I said, all of your books pack such a punch! There is so much happening in every single sentence and I love it so much.
This book to me was so many things: it was sweet, it was sexy and so saucy, it was heartbreaking, the emotions felt... the feelings of loss and betrayal - the feelings of surviving... to choose to live... to choose yourself and be a whole person... Jade tackled some really heavy topics but she did so with grace and dignity for the characters. The ups and downs of this book are intense, but in the absolute best kind of way. The emotional rollercoaster is so satisfying! But I'm not surprised in the slightest because both books in the Fierce Protector series, along with "Delay of Game" have been absolutely incredible. The story setting and the band of characters that Jade has created for our reading pleasure are incredible! We just want to live in their world, participate in their antics, hear their jokes, fan ourselves off during some of the more erotic moments with dropped jaws "what did he just tell her to do???"... I digress. And ohmygawd, I cannot forget to mention the ENTIRE cat jokes scene in this book! I have not laughed so hard from reading a scene in a book in my entire life! I absolutely love all of the guys, Tank's buddies are beyond hilarious! Which makes me so thirsty for the next book! Like seriously, I need more of these guys! They are beyond addicting.

Jade, you did it again. Waylon A.K.A Tank has taken over the top spot in my heart right now. He is just the perfect man. Such a gentle giant. He doesn’t have a good track record with relationships due to him being “too sweet” but that all changes when he meets Bristol.
Bristol was one of my favorites when we met her in Dauntless Protector. She makes a promise to her fiancé on his deathbed not to give her heart to anyone else which I was trying so hard to understand but at the same time what kind of man will ask of that? ( Red Flag 🚩) She is still young and has so much life to experience. She visits his grave on Sundays and also visits his mother who has her working like a damn slave every time she went over. Don’t even get me started on David and him helping her set up her rules.
Waylon is so beyond patient and understanding with her but how long can Bristol stay in compliance with her Rules before breaking them all? Will Waylon still want to see her even though her heart belongs to someone else and that it won’t ever be more than just sex to Bristol?
There’s the plot twist I was not expecting. Definitely thought something was up but when it happened, I was in complete shock and hurting for Bristol so much.
They compliment each other so well and they are exactly what each other needs.
Jade definitely knew how to play with my emotions. This novel was heartwarming, heart-breaking, full of laughter and I felt like a who*e in Chruch because Lord that spice is so damn top tier. I had to stop a couple times because I needed to cool down.

I don’t know where to start with this special book and this special author. Devoted Protector is complete and utter perfection. It’s a story within a story within a story. Bristol was my favorite character from Dauntless Protector. She's feisty, strong, funny, unapologetic, and independent. All the things I love in female characters, especially FMCs. I love that we’re getting her story. Waylon “Tank” Hanford is just the dreamiest, sweetest MMC of all time. He’s exactly what Bristol never knew she both needed and deserved.
Jade Dollston is a master at her craft, telling a tale of love, loss, and healing, all with her whip-smart wit and searing intellect. Bristol and Waylon’s immediate chemistry is palpable. They weather so many ups downs, both together and apart. It’s a beautiful love story, where I laughed as much as I cried (which was a lot).
Dollston is a once in a generation storyteller. Her attention to detail makes you feel as though you’re on the journey along with her characters. She makes every scene meaningful. The way she writes spice is unmatched in the romance community. You’re made to feel as though you bear witness to every intimate moment. My review of her first novel, Delay of Game, noted that we were seeing the beginning of greatness. Hats off to you, Ms. Dollston, for proving me right.

What book boyfriends are made of!
My goodness! I started this book journey with the 1st couple in this story with Delay of Game... and this story, and the characters get better and better! It also gets hotter and hotter! I highly encourage anyone wanting to read this book to start with Delay of Game and work yourselves up to this point in the beautiful book journey. Seriously, you will NOT regret it! The characters are all woven in there and carefully drawn throughout all the novels.
But boy oh boy! Waylon is the man in every woman's fantasies!!! Huge and dominant, yet sweet and caring. And the chemistry between him and Bristol from the beginning will have you fanning yourselves from the very start!!! Bristol's heartbreaking story leaves you with all the feels as Waylon comes in and "saves" her unbeknownst to her from the very start. IT'S SIMPLY FANTASTIC!!! Even with having a toddler at home and chasing him around all day, I finished the book in 2 days. Seriously had a hard time putting it down!
