came to the library on my day off of work for the sole reason of finding this book and reading it after forgetting about it for ten years XD 10/10, one of the greatest kid books out there. It reads like a fever dream, but in the best way possible
First book in a fun and silly series about a boy race car driver/spy for kids who love words. Not perfect for struggling readers, but great for kids grades 1 - 3 who read well enough to enjoy learning about new ways to play with words like palindromes and anagrams. Some kids who don't have that strong a command of language will still enjoy the books just for the silly villains.
For reluctant boy readers, this is a great book to grab them. Otto is a boy racecar driver who loves palindromes and having adventures. Filled with great illustrations and written with a unique style, the book grabs your attention and keeps it. If your son is hesitant to read, give him this book.
I thought this was hilarious! Also it had riddles, and Otto is really into palindromes. A good book for a new-ish reader, more 2nd grade than Kindergarten.
