I read this book (and the other two) ages ago. I've re-read it a few times because it's just so funny. Why it hasn't been made into a movie or better yet a tv series is beyond me.

Imagine Murphy Brown set in space, a big badger-like alien who gets drunk on caffeine, add some Monty Python-esque situations and some Whedon-esque style dialogue and you've got an idea of how much fun these books are.

I read this years ago when it first came out. Somewhere along the line, what with various moves, I lost my copy. Not only was I able to track it down again, but also the two other books in the trilogy. Color me happy!
The story takes place in the 23rd century and follows the exploits and investigations of SNT (Satellite News Team) as they try to get to the bottom of what has started an interplanetary war.
