A bit of a lopsided review for this book. While I have studied crystal healing and the uses of crystals I am not like the author a reflexologist or masseuse so I couldn't quite connect fully with the book.

However...the book is beautifully written with lots of colour photographs and easy to follow illustrations for wand work with massage. Lots of detail of the different typre of crystal wands available. I can never tire of pictures of crystals (only beaten by actually owning all the crystals!)  so this appealed to me.

There are new techniques for massage, ways to make oils with the crystals. I finished the book tempted to try some techniques on willing family members even if it's something I couldn't add to my business practise (as yet)

A lovely book and very informative. Highly recommended

As most of you know, I’ve been interested in the wonderful world of crystal healing for a few years. I love devouring as much information about them as I can. This was the first book I read about using them for acupressure and reflexology. Crystal healing and chakra balance and such I’m not new to so those were more of a refresher to me.

There was a lot about this book I really enjoyed, but wish it went more in depth with certain aspects that I wanted to learn more about. I do think this is a great place to start, but not so much if you are more than familiar with crystal healing. I really enjoyed the illustrations and thought they brought a lot to the table for explanation. I just didn’t feel that the author knew or explained more about the science of reflexology.

I would definitely refer back to this one for a more simplistic refresher on certain crystals but not for learning more in depth techniques. I would recommend this if you want a nice overview of wands and maybe learn how to practice certain healing therapies. This is a nice place to start, but don’t go in thinking you will learn even close to everything.

Unfortunately the author does not appear to have an understanding of the science and theories of reflexology as they are grossly confused with massage and acupuncture within this book.

Clear and concise. Useful techniques and information regarding the quality of some very familiar and some not so familiar crystals.

The wands they use and sell are unique in style but are somewhat expensive. However there are smaller and cheaper versions around for most of the crystal types, so don't be afraid to experiment.

A brush up on your knowledge of the meridians would also be beneficial, but is not necessary before reading this book.
