Five ordinary people know what they should do. But will they do what's right no matter what the cost? It's been two years since Natalie, Walter, Kathy, Del, and Julia received anonymous invitations that led them to Haven, Nebraska where their lives were changed in miraculous ways by an Almighty God. Now, they all struggle to follow through with God's direction and the promises they made. But then amazing things start happening, and one of the Havenites is placed in deadly peril. The others know they must answer God's call a second time, even if it means facing an enemy more terrifying, more powerful, more malevolent than they've ever known. An enemy determined to destroy them. An enemy who is no match for the Creator of the Universe. "I can do everything through him who gives me strength." (Philippians 4: 13) Continue the series with "The Temptation", and then Kathy's story in "Crossroads".

The Haven group of five are reviewing their lives two years after being at Haven. Are they doing God's will or not thinking about God? A good sequel to book 1 but a good stand alone book as well.
As good as the first one. I had to put it down a couple of times. The author made the evil so real and as in life I didn't want to believe evil works in our lives, but it does. Great job.
I am not going to rate this book because I had not realized that it was in the middle of a series and thus bailed. I don't think it is fair to rate it because of that.
The second book in the Mustard Seed series continues on with the lives of those chosen in the first book, showing the challenges they face in the path God has chosen for them. Wonderful story - really makes you think! Looking forward to the next one!
This story follows the characters we met in The Invitation. Though in fiction form, it deals with the issue of good vs. evil and the power we have through Christ who strengthens us. An enjoyable read for sure!
This book is a riveting book about God’s power and goodness. I would recommend it to anyone who is seeking to follow God fully and bring glory to His kingdom.
