A VERY tedious read, but totally worth the trouble to any serious or intermediate player. Really, the best information I've found on excellence in playing backgammon.

This has been by far the best backgammon "how to" book I've read. For one thing, Reese recommends moves that have given me a fresh perspective on positioning, risk, etc. He also gives detailed explanations for why he recommends particular moves. Basically, it's changed how I play - or at least how I'm willing to play at times. Don't know that my win-loss record has been altered much, but it's always fun to learn and explore new or alternate strategies.
Thanks, Terence ol' boy.
