Hiding In Plain Sight: The False Doctrines of Seventh-day Adventism Vol. II

Rate this book
In Hiding In Plain Sight Vol. II, I tackle Adventist doctrines and beliefs about jewellery, attire, cosmetics, and fashion; tithing; theology of the Law; theology of the Sabbath and the most popular proof-texts they use to mandate Sabbath-keeping for Christians today. I give special attention to all of the arguments they have invented in attempts to extricate the weekly Sabbath from Colossians 2:16-17 and refute them. I delve into their theology of the Sabbath being the seal of God and Sunday worship soon-to-be the dreaded Mark of the Beast, and their anticipation of the United States of America passing and enforcing national and global Sunday Laws.

The SDA Church cockily sees itself as the only true church that God has in these last days. It believes that it is the ultimate and final fountain of all biblical truth and knowledge. I put their views and arguments of exclusive remnant church status to the test in several chapters. Because of its exclusive remnant claims and theology, Adventism is very inimical towards the Roman Catholic Church and Protestant Christianity. You will see why they are so hostile towards both church groups.

Lastly, Adventist evangelistic tactics in many countries around the world have always been deceptive, sneaky, and subversive. This has puzzled a lot of Christians for years. You will understand why they operate the way they do with their literature and evangelism. Deception is embedded in their evangelistic strategies.

Weighed against contextual exposition of Scripture, the Gospel, and historical doctrines of the Christian faith, the doctrines, interpretations, worldview, and aberrant teachings of Seventh-day Adventism are patently false, and some heretical.

"Come out of Her, My People"

Thunder does a fabulous job of dissecting the lies and deceptions of the SDA church. I am greatful for his work in opening my eyes as a 3rd gen Adventist.
I now embrace the freedom of the true Jesus and His all powerful Gospel!
