This is a terrific cookbook. Many times we buy a cookbook for one or two specific recipes and either that's all we make or all we like from that particular book. This little book has a plethora of great recipes in it--from simple to complicated. I bought this many years ago, when it was first published and there are probably a dozen recipes that I make regularly and another dozen that I make occasionally. We particularly like the poppy seed dumplings in the chicken stew recipe (I dont' use the stew recipe just the dumplings), and the chicken enchiladas which are so simple that they look like they should be flavorless, but they are delicious. There are a number of casserole recipes that are also good and the skewer chicken sauce is wonderful. This book is a keeper. I'm on my second one since all the pages were falling out of my first one. It's a shame it's not still in print.
I thought it would be fun to read a cookbook straight through and actually it was more tedious than expected. Very attractive glossy photos though and I marked a few to try later. Basically everything in this looked worth making.
