This "story"!!!!!!
Talk, Talk, Talk!!!!!
Quite literally the First 2/3's of the story is Talk, Talk, Talk!!!!!
What are we going to do? What is going on here? What could this be? Talk, Talk, Talk!!!!!
I kept saying to myself: " Just F***ing get in a F***ing Shuttlecraft and Go F***ing see what is F***ing on the F***ing Planet!
Instead we get Talk, Talk, Talk!!!!!
So Finally! they go out to Investigate the planet and nothing happens.
Then, for the Final 1/3 of the "story" it's more Talk, Talk, Talk!!!!!
But this time it's Tell Tell Tell. About this happened in the Past, and that happened in the Past. And.....Tell, Tell, Tell!
This isn't a story, it's someone's Pseudo-Scientific Research Paper disguised as a story!
Don't get me wrong. It's an Interesting Discussion but it reads more like an Outline for a story than an actual story itself.
It actually reminds me of an episode from the Unfortunate First Season of Star Trek TNG where 90% of the time, the Crew of the Enterprise just talked, talked and talked. And there were not enough Phasers.

I enjoyed listening to this tale.
The narrators voice is clear.
The recording quality is good with a little echo, it has plenty of volume.

Interesting.
Unusual angle for the ending. Alien encarnation results in a seemingly stable society worth withdrawing from. Help (?) arrives. I like it.
