There's a sasquatch in the heartland and alligators in the sewers of New York The hit series heats up as Proof and Ginger uncover hidden monsters that have lived among us for generations.

Inoffensive, I guess. If I hadn't bought the first three volumes in an eBay lot, I would never have got this far. There's some Golem stuff which doesn't go anywhere and it's all weightless and unimpressive. Meh to the max.
Not quite as good as previous volumes of Proof, but still pretty good as comics go. Love the little cyrptoid facts, maybe even more than the story. Glad to see they're starting to develop the characters a little more. I think I didn't connect with the thunderbirds myth very much, but I like seeing that maybe there's going to be an overarching war, and dug the Golem, and the way they treated him the way they do "Jack" in fables.
The best in the series so far. The mix of folklore and mythology from many different cultures and traditions is fun, and the characters are starting to acquire some depth.
Lots of interesting questions raised that make this volume a definite step above the second. Sketchy, weird art, action, and intrigue, plus giant birds and tiny monkeys. What else do you want?
All of the sudden the coloring looks sort of crappy in this story arc. That's too bad because this is a pretty strong installment in the series. Oh well. I will continue to read these trades.
