I had one of these when I was little- adored it- and really recommend it for children. My Very Own Playhouse is a collapsible dollhouse that can be easily stored as a book when it's not in use. It's quite sturdy and the detail inside the little two-storey is lovely. It also has quite a number of pop-up features (beds, stairs, etc.) as well as doors and windows that you can open and close.
This review may seem more than a bit out of place among the rest of my bookshelf, but I've been sorting through all of the useless crap lying about that I can never seem to throw away Anyway, I just wanted to recommend this to any of my Goodreads friends with little girls/boys (let's not stereotype). Oh, and the really great thing is, it's much cheaper than thosebeautiful ridiculously pricey, non-collapsible dollhouses you get. At least, in Ireland.
