This collection reprints the first four issues of Phase 7 in their #001 features a twelve-page "silent" comic about escaping horrible office jobs, plus a variety of one and two-page comics with plenty of gags and jokes! #002 has three short a trip to New York City with my friend Gabe, working as a scenic carpenter in L.A. and tree-hugging SPACE ALIENS! #003 is the epic story of my cross-country road trip with my friend Gabe. Drawn with stick figures in a journal-type Comics form. Adventure! Love! Hilarity! Danger! Gambling! #004 contains a semi-autobiographical tale that explores the idea of graffiti as art. I used all real graffiti from the streets of Seattle, WA. This book also features an all-new three page introduction and Phase 7 covers, introductions and letter columns.

About the author

Alec is a cartoonist who lives in Santa Fe, New Mexico. He has been self-publishing his Ignatz Award winning comic book PHASE 7 since 2002, and his Eisner-nominated webcomic Isle of Elsi since 2016. To pay the bills, Alec works as a freelance illustrator and a comics educator.
