I love Ember Flint stories, but I had a hard time with this one. The very beginning is very detailed, and I found it overly so. I understand the need for background info, but for me, this exposition of previous events was a chore to get through. Ultimately, it wasn't really that interesting. I had a hard time connecting with Bear and Wren, though I desperately wanted to fall in love with them. I didn't find the book overly dark, didn't have anything that I hated. All in all, I just couldn't connect with this book. But I still adore Ember Flint and her writing! Hope you have better luck!

I would have given it 4 stars but the too much details especially at the beginning was very boring and unnecessary ! But..... I loved wren and Bear they were Perfect for each other and the 4 epilogues were very hot and cute ❤

Another good story by Ms. Flint.
This was a sweet yet steamy MC story. The H was loyal, strong, alpha and possessive and the h was a little spitfire of a thing and knew what she wanted and went for it. The back story was detailed but allowed us understand better the situation that put both main characters in.
-virgin h, H states has been celibate for years
-safe for me. H is 14 years older than h and last saw her when she was 5. So I'm going to assume he was not celibate since meeting her, therefore unfortunately makes it not 100% safe.
-H pushed away but we are made to understand why
-no OM/OW drama, no CW's
-4 marvelous epilogues at 3 months, 4 months, 7 months and 8 years after meeting.

Wren is an engineer and works building bikes. She wants to return to her hometown but her family doesn't want her to because of the trauma she suffered there. She decides to do what she wants and applies for a bike building job in town. It happens to be with the MC for deceased father belonged to. Bear is the club President and when he sees her job application he has mixed emotions about what to do. In the end he gives her a job so he can at least look after her instead of chancing her coming in without them knowing. She could still be in danger from her past and Bear wants to protect her so he spreads the word throughout the club about her. When she shows up sparks fly between them and its not long before Bear knows that Wren is meant to be his. Will her past be too much for her? Can Bear keep her safe if need be?

This is a great story the author does go a bit in detail about their past but its necessary I think to the story. The chemistry between them is blazing hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

Another great book from Ember Flint, love that the characters match, Wren and Bear match An older alpha that falls for a younger woman and they feel the same for each other and the great thing is they already knew about each other when they both saw a picture of each other and that in real life when they saw each other all the pieces of the puzzle fell into place and they had finally found the right one.

And the piece for history they have is fun to read back so you can re-understand what happened before, and as always, forbidden fruit is always attractive.

This is a hot fun read about two people from totally different backgrounds who found the missing pieces they didn't even know they had when they met one another This older bike riding alpha male has finally found his match in a society girl that doesn't fir the mold of her family She is outspoken and determined as her family has always supported her. They are a true match made in heaven If I had any criticism the start of the book got a little draggy with the back story maybe we didn't need so much detail.

This was a amazing book. Wren and Bear are the missing pieces to each other; they knew it as soon as they saw a picture of the other. The road to each other is filled with pain and sadness but on the heals of it all, this book gives a fantastic HEA. I loved the connection and the great insta-love this book offered. Chasing Her Soulmate!

I loved reading this book. A new to me author to boot!! What a fantastic read. It had every emotion, and I mean every single emotion out there. There was quite a bit of back story, but this book wouldn’t be what it is without it. And, the upcoming books to continue this book into a series, needed all of it. It makes them who, what and why they are the way they are. I loved their romance. I loved the ending of this book. Bring on the next book!!

Wren & Bear

This story was so freaking hot and full of tension.This is older man/younger woman, but technically I don't feel like he is too much older than Wren & they were very well suited for each other. Loved their pull to be with one another and the devotion to the club and their jobs. Epilogues are included a few years out, and they were everything! Solid five out of five!

Another good story.
An MC romance that just hits the spot.
I was unsure as to what I was gonna get with this book but I can happily say that I wasnt disappointed.
I enjoyed that Bear and Wren had a backstory and a connection through her biological father.
I didnt feel like their feelings were forced for each other, it was just like they were meant for each other.
Some may not like the age gap thing, but I think that made me like it more, shows that it doesnt matter who you love, love is love.
I noticed that this was part of the chasing dream series but also that the author has put it as book one of a new series curves of bikes, and I can tell you I am very much looking forward to what else this story may bring and to be hearing of more characters and watch how it all develops.

This story just drug on and on and on and on and on. Yeah kinda like that. It took almost 1/3 the way through the book to get past the back and forth reminiscing of the back story. So much of that was repetitive and quite frankly not that interesting. There was very little interaction going on. The story was stale and when the interactions began it was quite frankly not worth the item that went into all that back story. So did it have a HEA? For the characters but not me LOL

Also the editing HORRENDOUS!! Typos are one thing but talking about the costume cycles she creates instead of custom and using his instead of her. Just another thing that made a short story extremely hard to read.

This is the 2nd book I've read by this Author and I had the same complaints for the book His Curvy Chef.

Not worth the time invested to download off Amazon and read!

A lot of reading.

I almost didn't finish this. It's not that the writing was bad. Ember, clearly painted a picture of her characters. What I had a problem with was a few things: the back and forth between Wren and Bear. The start of the book was all the back story of what took place in the past, but that writing was over 70 pages. Next, the feelings they envoked in each other, etc., Was over 40 pages. The last 58 pages was steamy, and detailed them getting together, the future, the love/soul mate feelings, and lastly a little bit of brotherhood. I gave this three stars because Ember IS a good writer, has clear characters, and can describe scenes, situations and events flawlessly. This should have been an 60 page book.

Very sweet and steamy MC story. Bear hasn't seen Wren since she was 5 years old. Bear took over the MC club when Wren's parents were killed. The story gives you a good backstory so that you can catch up with the characters lives. Wren get an engineering degree and an arc welder so that she can build custom bikes. I loved the characters. The story was well written. I loved that when they saw the picture of the other they felt a connection to each other. Their lives will never be the same again. Great story, highly recommend. So good! Wren and Bear were so fantastic. I loved the build up between these two. Wren was not your typical rich girl, she loved motorcycles and working on them. She was strong willed and knew what she wanted. And she wanted Bear. Bear was fighting his attraction to her because of her family history. It added some complexity to the story and we were able to drag out the tension between these two. There was a lot of in their head conversations for Wren and Bear but I think that was more to provide a way to tell the background for these two. Good story, really liked reading and the HEA.

Usually, I gave 4 or 5 stars for Ember's book since she was always given a thorough relevant background story for each book. But, in this book particularly, those details were bit redundant and dragging. The MC's romance and present story was seemed neglected by it and bit rushed too. Maybe that's why I felt that the chemistry was bit lacking and I didn't feel as swoon as I was expecting to be.

Finding her way home

MC Fiend is the first book in the Curves on Bikes series and is another great book by Ember Flint. This story is about Wren and Bear who are tied together in more ways than one. This is an older man/younger woman, MC lite story with two people who are so perfect for each other in every way. The story does have some emotional gut punches as it deals with a lot of loss and the pain that comes from it. But then it also has a lot of love and is uplifting. Plus the chemistry between them is amazingly hot and super steamy.

Wren's birth parents were killed over a dispute about Ash Falls, she was five and adopted by a great friend of her father's. They were in an MC, her father was the president, she's been obsessed with bikes and the biker world, and wants to go back to see if she can fill a hole in her life.
Bear is the new pres and knew her father well, as he was a teenager at the time. He knows that everyone promised to keep Wren away from Ash Falls, but she's determined and he feels that she's entitled to her share of the bike shop.
The chemistry is off the charts.

Good but a bit long to start

Good romance, very well written, but which is very long started because the past of the two heroes and their motivations is presented at length, before a much faster development. Because of this past, I expected more twists and turns, but ultimately the story is cute and hot between Bear the biker and Wren the motorcycle designer.

Reading the blurb for this book felt a bit long until I read the description Bear used to describe Wren...” Pocket-size Hurricane on wheels”. Now that was funny as all get out and accurate lol! Don’t you just love it when you can prove people’s assumptions and preconceived notions wrong??! I know I do!! All of the f-bombs were too much tho...
