William "Bill" Schnoebelen is an American Christian evangelist, author, lecturer, and apologist who has devoted much of his career to religious teaching and ministry. Educated at St. Francis Seminary and Liberty University, where he earned graduate degrees in theology and counseling, he has been active in ministry since 1986. In 1992, he founded and became director of With One Accord Ministries, an organization dedicated to biblical teaching, evangelism, and addressing religious controversies. Schnoebelen is widely known for his testimony regarding his involvement in various spiritual and occult movements before embracing evangelical Christianity. Drawing on those experiences, he has written numerous books and educational materials examining subjects such as Freemasonry, Wicca, Mormonism, occult practices, and Christian doctrine. Among his best-known works is Romancing Death, which explores the cultural fascination with vampirism and the occult. In addition to writing and speaking internationally, he has worked in counseling and addiction recovery, taught extensively, and produced a large body of print and video-based ministry resources.

I have read many books on the occult and supernatural but this was the most detailed and informative. At some points the information was so complex that I couldn't follow it. The greatest thing about this book, however, is the reminder that there is no human who is too deep in darkness that God can not reach in and, through the blood of Jesus, rescue.

Como dice 2 Cor 2:11 "para que Satanás no gane ventaja alguna sobre nosotros; pues no ignoramos sus maquinaciones."
Este libro cumple ese propósito.

A blessed gift for the people of the world. Every deed in darkness shall be brought to light. God be praised. God is in control and will always be.

This book was quite eye opening with regards to the spiritual world and in hindsight I think the Western church has done a great disservice to Christians by not talking about this and that ‘magic/magik’ is actually possible and exists, but is totally demonic. It means that I’ve not been able to evangelise as effectively to my New Age in-laws because we’ve always scoffed at some of the things they’ve been dabbling in, confirming (in their mind at least) their ideas that Christians are ignorant. In saying that, I only gave 4 stars to this book because I’m not sure that the amount of detail with his Satanic experiences were all necessary to include. What it did was make me quite fearful of Satan, and it wasn’t until the last 1/4 of the book that the author got to where Jesus is actually the most powerful Being. Overall, worth reading if you’re wanting to evangelise a Satanist or someone involved in Wicca.

A man and his wife go deep into Satanism, becomes a vampire, illuminati and Mason while also being a priest in the catholic and orthodox church. Then a Christian starts praying for him and everything starts falling apart. Satan gets him into Mormonism. Finally he finds Jesus. Crazy book. He pauses his story to explain the different branches of Satanistm/occult /new age stuff and their beliefs and how Christians can reach them.

Not sure I'd recommend a baby Christian to read this (unless they're already acquainted with this), but I'd recommend it to mature believers. According to him, every church has people in the occult but may not realize.

He gives biblical advice and it is encouraging that God is so powerful and no one is beyond his reach!

DON'T PRAY TO A SATANIST!!!

dangerous piece of advice here about sending unrequested love to someone, that's an infringement on the first law, satanists know this that's why they utilize these kinds of twists on their "stories" that energy feeds their dirty work directly

aside from that this author has no track record for anything he says, don't waste your time reading this but if you do, keep a highly skeptical mind

I couldn’t put this book down. I have been a Jesus follower my entire life but have always been fascinated by other beliefs/religious. This book went into great detail about his journey finding Jesus and i am just overwhelmed by the love of the Father and how He seeks us out after reading this. Cant wait to read his other books!

A really interesting read of William's testimony that winds you through the different ways Satan gets his grips on people within the occult, cults and religions. A bit o

It goes into a lot of graphic detail that could be unhelpful to some people (children and those with a predisposition towards the occult) and at times seemed a bit long winded but informative.

Thorough and deep knowledge of many cult/occultic topics. A biography that not only shows how dark a person’s life can be, but that you’re never too far for the love and saving grace of Jesus to find you. Author did a lot of explanation of history and background knowledge that prepares readers for encounters and chances to witness to Satanists and people from these backgrounds.

Excellent

I am an ex satanic witch/black magician groomed from the age of 3 to witchcraft and demon worship/spiritism. This book was VERY good, a must read for anyone who is fighting their way out of the darkness. Thank you Jesus, all glory to God!

The book has the merit of presenting what is evil in occultism across its various practices and in different secret societies, among them: Wicca, witchcraft, Satanism, all forms of magic, Mormonism, the reality of vampirism, Spiritism and mediumship, the malignant doctrines of Aleister Crowley (Thelema), and Freemasonry.

Thus, the book is useful for gaining some knowledge about these harmful practices.

Even so, the author falls into the error of anti-Catholicism. In several passages, he mistakenly criticizes the Catholic Church and its doctrines—this is the book’s point of error. Therefore, one should be cautious regarding the author’s anti-Catholic doctrinal errors.
