This is a good beginning reader book about cows. There are bold words on the page that are defined at the end of the book. I prefer to have the words defined on the page where they are introduced. The facts are accurate and simplistic. The photos complement the text. I like that this book has a section with the parts of a cow labelled. There is also a list of cow facts, a glossary, and an index.
