Creep! Crawl!

Announcing a brand new idea in publishing books for babies: the completely durable, completely safe Indestructibles. Published on the same paper-like material used in shipping envelopes, Indestructibles are 100% baby-proof: chew-proof, drool-proof, and rip-proof. That's because Indestructibles not only will not tear or turn gummy with teething, but they are also completely washable.

Indestructibles are also energetic, beautiful, and created just for baby. The printing material reproduces color artwork with uncommon depth, and with no residual inkiness; the artwork, paintings by Kaaren Pixton and reminiscent of Eric Carle, is happy, each page a simple, colorful image of an animal or bird or insect against a rich, textured background. The effect is 3D-like and completely visual. There are no words, making each perfect for parents and babies to look at together, with mom or dad telling the story.

Three titles launch the series: Creep! Crawl! about animals that crawl, Flutter! Fly! about animals that fly, and Wiggle! March! about farm animals—books babies can really sink their teeth into.

This is one of the Indestructible books - there are books about animals, babies, nursery rhymes...

All of the Indestructible books are great - I can't recommend them highly enough. They are literally indestructible - they can even be thrown in the washing machine. They are incredibly lightweight; perfect to have with you anywhere you go. They make a wonderful baby shower gift!

The nursery rhyme books have beautiful illustrations set in various locations, like Africa and South America. Really terrific!

Feeling very much like an Eric Carl book with the colorful, watercolor illustrations this indestructible book is a feast for young eyes even though each page only includes a single animal and no words.

My friend Kate B. recommended the Indestructibles books, but I hadn't realized that unlike the ones she had shown me, some of them have no words and are just pictures.

I was thrown by the giant pictures of insects on the opening pages (the grasshopper is staring right at you, and the centipede/millipede/whatever is, while colorfully and friendly drawn, still jarring to me) and as I kept going I wasn't stoked by some unrealistic editorial choices -- mostly the cartoonishly-femme eyelashes on some critters ... and then the earthworm is wearing sunglasses?

Part of the "Indestructibles" line from Workman Publishing--won't rip or tear, 100% washable, perfectly okay for the way babies read--with their hands and mouths. It's not really cloth, it feels more like paper and the illustrations are fantastic and colorful. It's never too early to introduce the love of books into kids. At least that's MY philosophy!

Of all the Indestructible books, this one has my favorite pictures. Mama and Papa would take these with me when we would go out. I could sit at the table at look at them for a long time. I enjoyed myself.

I love all of these indestructibles. They live up the name and are wonderful in the infant classrooms at the childcare center where I work.

These are my go-to "you're having a baby" gift for showers!

Vivid, interesting pictures with a safe-to-chew texture makes these perfect for baby.
