This book has got to be the easiest, clearest wedding craft book I own. The materials are all listed at the beginning of every project, and there's no need for it to list the difficulty because they are all easy (but some are much more time-consuming than others). The only criticism I have is that most of the projects are not very creative or imaginative, and most of the styles shown are borderline hokey/country/cheap. But anyone can take the basic premise of a project and make it more sophisticated and chic by using nicer/prettier materials. So a great book, some imagination required on your part.

Oof. This book, written in 2006, did not age well at all. Unfortunately, while it definitely seems to fit with the cheap and cheerful idea, most of these looks appear very “arts and crafts” hour, in an unfortunate vacation-Bible-school kind of way. Most of this is not remotely environmentally- or budget-friendly. The gilded frame shadowbox seems to be the book’s main redeeming quality, but could be adapted for anything, not just for weddings.

Lots of the ideas in this book were really cute, but all of them were a little too involved and expensive for my taste.
